From Friends to Lovers: Alois x Ciel

Chapter 15

Alois's POV: I woke up, snuggled very close to Ciel. I smiled as I watched him sleep. He's even more beautiful when he's sleeping. He woke up, and hugged me tighter. "Good morning, sleepy."I said. He yawned. "Good morning."he replied. I smiled and kissed him. In the middle of doing so, I heard a loud rapping noise on the door. I sighed, and walked over to open the door. Right before I could open the door, I heard two loud popping, cracking noises. Gunshots! I thought to myself, slowly opening the door. There I saw Sebastian and Claude lying on the ground, covered in blood, and Mey-rin was holding a gun in the hallway.
Ciel's POV: As soon as I saw Sebastian out of the corner of my eye, I sprinted to where he was and flopped down on the ground next to him. "SEBASTIAN! SEBASTIAN, LOOK AT ME!"I screeched. I glazed over eyes made their way to me. He gave a shaky smile. "Ciel, I'm so sorry for what I did to you." I clutched his hand. "I know. Alois, call an ambulance!" I said, starting to cry. Sebastian reached his frail hand up to wipe tears off my face. "Don't cry over me, Ciel. Save your tears for a time when you're going to need them."he said. This made more tears come down. "Sebastian, I saw you as a friend, a brother and a father, and you were one of my best friends. I forgave you for what you did, and I just want things to be right again!"I cried. Soon enough, I heard an ambulance blaring, and they took Sebby and Claude away.
Alois's POV: As Mey-rin drove us to the hospital, Ciel cried and sobbed into my chest. "He can't die... He can't. He was one of my only friends, and I don't want to lose him!"he said. I rocked him back and forth in an attempt to console him. By the time we got to the hospital, he had fallen asleep. I sighed, picked him up, and carried him inside. I laid him in my lap as we sat in the waiting room. Mey-rin was shaking. "I didn't hear them knock, and when they walked in, I thought they were going to hurt you, and now, I could have ended their lives."she said. I touched her shoulder. "You did it to protect us. They understand why you did it. Your heart, Mey-rin, is more pure than mine could ever be."I said. She sniffed, and said"Thank you." The hospital sent us home without seeing them that night, and I also ended up crying myself to sleep.
