Chapter 16

Alois's POV: I woke up the next morning, and I realized that I was alone. Confused, I walked to the living room. There Ciel was, sleeping on the couch. I spied a phone on the coffee table next to him. I sat on the ground next to the couch and played with his hair. A few minutes later he woke up, and his eyes darted to the phone, and he quickly picked it up. "What're you doing?" I asked. He put his pointer finger over my lips. "Hush."he said. I raised an eyebrow. "Did you just hush me?"I asked. He nodded slowly, then realizing what I was going to do, his eyes grew wide. "Oh my gosh! I'm sorry!"he squealed. "Oh, no. You asked for it." I said, smashing my lips into his. His lips slightly parted, and I slid my tongue in. This was our first open-mouthed kiss since the incident. When we pulled away, Ciel was smiling. "Sorry, I've just been a little worried. I made sure you were asleep, then came out here in case the phone rang in the middle of the night. I ended up falling asleep." He said, then looked down at the phone. "You wanna go see them?"I asked. He quickly nodded. "Okay, then. Let's get going!" I said. We woke up Mey-rin, and forced her to drive us to the hospital. We walked up to the clerk on shift, and told her who we're here to visit. She looked down at her clipboard, and she grabbed a box of tissues. "I'm so sorry, but neither of them made it. Mr. Faustus died in surgery, and Mr.Michaelis died of blood loss. Were you two their children?" Ciel nodded, but I shook my head. "Sebastian was Ciel's dad, but I'm just a friend of Claude." I said. I looked at Ciel. He was shaking, and he was staring at the floor. I wrapped my arms around him, and he began to sob. Before I knew it, I was crying too. After we calmed ourselves down, the lady at the desk asked what we would be doing with the bodies. "We would like to donate both the bodies to scientific research."Ciel said. I looked at him. The lady nodded. "I'll have some people from the research center pick them up later. I'm very sorry for your losses, boys. Would you like to say your goodbyes?" We nodded. She led us through to the room they were in.
Ciel's POV: I can't believe that they're gone. I just can't. But there he was. His body covered by a white sheet. I held Sebastian's cold, pale, lifeless hand, and I just sat there. I was at a loss for words. "I'm going to miss you,...dad. I'll never forget you. You are the person who taught me everything, including how to love. Your life shouldn't have ended. I'll see you as soon as possible. I love you, dad." I walked over to alois. He was just sitting there. "You ready to go?"he asked. I nodded. Mey-rin drove us home. I went back to bed for the rest of the day with the door locked, curtains drawn, lights out. I cried and cried while Alois held me. I cried until it hurt to breathe, and I did the same for him. We didn't leave the room that night. We were so tired we fell asleep, without even saying goodnight to each other, and I was already dreading tomorrow.
A/N: so, um, yeah. I just did that. I'm damn crazy. I'm working on a couple of new stories, and hopefully, they won't be as dark as this one got. I'm so sorry. It killed me to write this chapter. I'm going to eat oreos, cry, and watch Mean Girls. Bye, my little stars, and once again, I'm sorry!!! *cries and sobs*
