Nina Verro works in the dispatch headquarters. She's constantly abused at hime by her father and it seems her life takes a flip when she meets a certain fire fighter.

Nina walks into the station the next day with a bit of an extra pep to her step. The night before she didn't receive a punishment because her father was too tired and went straight to bed. She even decided to bring Buck his favorite coffee from the diner they would go to frequently. As Nina walks in she sees a few firefighters looking at her funny but she brushes it off as nothing.
One of the men staring was Bobby Nash the fire captain and he was highly confused why a civilian was in there station. Nina really didn't come around the station often...... it seemed she was going more lately for some reason.
Nina carry's the coffee in her hands having already finished her own. "Excuse me ma'am is there something I can help you with?" Bobby asks with Hen and Chim close behind him wanting to eavesdrop.
"Oh uh- a-s-sorry I'm uh..... I'm Nina. Bucks friend." The girl stutters going a bright pink and avoiding eye contact with the trio. Truthfully they thought she was a new fuck buddy or fling he was having since abby left.
They all introduced themselves still staring her down for a second before dispersing except Chimney. "That should be him right there by the way.... Just thought... maybe you were looking for him." He says nicely before walking away.
He really did think it was Buck under the truck because that was the task he was given by the captain. Unbeknownst to the others Buck had asked to switch tasks with someone else.
Nina walks up and crouches next to the person on the dolly while wearing a smile. He hadn't noticed her yet so she tickled his lower abdomen to be funny. He would do it to her time to time so she didn't think anything of it now that she had an opportunity to get him back..... except it wasn't him.
Eddie wheeled out looking ready to joke around with someone he was expecting but stopped short seeing a wide eyed Nina looking at him. He too thought she was Buck.
"I-I am so sorry I thought you were- I thought you were Buck." Nina's says with a mortified expression. Eddie's face burned and not from a fire like he was used to. "Uh it's no problem..... Nina right?" He asks like he's unsure but Buck hadn't stopped mentioning her to him.
Nina was still a blushing mess and nodded looking away from his embarrassed expression. Buck seeing the two interact from up on the balcony smiled broadly leaning on the railing watching them talk.
"Yeah I am- I'm sorry." Nina mutters still embarrassed by her antics.
It makes Eddie's face turn pink again remembering what happened but he waved a dismissive hand.
"It's uh- really fine. Haven't had that done in awhile though I must admit." He says with an awkward grin as Nina smiles softly.
"I um- I better get going.... I don't want to be late for work" Nina says standing up and dusting her knees off. Before Eddie can stand or say a proper goodbye the entire station begins to lowly shake. Before Nina could process the earthquake she felt something hit her ankle hardly making her fall. She didn't meet the fire station concrete as she landed on something firm yet soft.
