On Thursday it was Chase and Skye's 12 year anniversary. "Morning," Chase said getting out of bed and pouring himself coffee, "happy anniversary, poured you a cup." he nodded his head to the side indicating to the mug. "Good morning to you to. Happy anniversary. You seem rather giddy this morning." She said drinking her coffee. "You comin'?" Chase offered. "I think I'll meet you in our room. " Skye replied. "Skye," Chase said with a sad gleam in his eye, "I love you." He said with hesitation. "I love you too." She said closing the door to their bedroom.  After his shower Chase walked into their bedroom to get dressed. "What time are we we getting lunch?" Chase asked pulling his police blue dress shirt on. "12:30." Skye said sitting on the side of their bed. "You alright?" she asked sincerely, "What's going on?" "I've been thinking. Catching up with Rubble Monday, made me think about our time in the Paw Patrol." He replied. "Oh babe." "No it's alright. I think that I should- 'RING RING!' The phone rang "I got it. Hello?" Chase said picking up the phone. "Hey, Marshall what's up?" "Hey! Chase, man long time. You busy? I need a favor. "No- yeah sure." "I need you to put in word down at the station. I want to propose to Everest, but I need police or ambulance nearby. "Definitely." "You sure."  "I will." "Thank you. Happy Anniversary by the way. See you later. "Thanks, you too." Chase put down the phone. "What did Marshall need?" "He's proposing."

12:45 pm, Thursday, The Porter Cafe

Chase, Skye, and Everest were sitting at their table. "Where's Marshall?" Skye asked looking around. "Oh. He had to go... to... the ... -OH MY GOD!" She yelled staring up. Marshall was standing on the roof of The Porter Cafe. "Marshall! Get Down!" Everest yelled with tears in her eyes. "If you say so." Marshall replied. He fell. Marshall fell fast onto the umbrella of their table. He rolled off quickly onto one knee and pulled out a ring from his light jeans and said, "Will you marry me?" Everest stared at the ring her eyes reflecting the sunlight. Chase felt like crying, he hadn't seen that look in someone's eyes in 12 years. "Oh My God! Yes!" She yelled sliding and admiring it. Chase and Skye looked at each other with a long rejuvenated love, and embraced.

1:30 pm, Thursday, The way back to Marshall's Apartment

Chase, Skye, Marshall, and Everest were walking back to Marshall and Everest's apartment. "Wow." Chase said breaking the 10 minute silence between the group. "What?" Marshall asked. "It's been strange week." "Really?" "Yeah. Monday I got to see Rubble for the first time in 13 years." "No way." "Yeah. We talked and I can't believe it's really been that long." "Damn." "That's what we said. You know, when Paw Patrol shut down we settled down quick," Chase said grabbing Skye's paw, "We knew that without each other we both would be a mess. I'm glad you two are settling, you will struggle but, it's so worth it in the end." Chase explained. "It really is." Skye agreed. As they approached the door Chase and Marshall exchanged paw-shakes. When they walked in and shut door Chase and Skye smiled at each other and walked back home.

2:05 pm, Thursday, Chase and Skye's Apartment

When they got home they threw their keys in the bowl and Chase hung his hat, their scarves, and their coats. "You know we haven't done anything for us yet today and I've got work in 5 minutes." Chase said Looking at his watch. He opened Spotify and played their song, L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole.

Skye and Chase walked over to each other and began to slow dance together until the song ended. As it ended they embraced and Chase got ready for work. When he left Skye sat down and grabbed her book, and read for hours.
