7:00 am, Wednesday November 15th, Adventure Bay Regional Hospital

Chase, with the help of Skye and Marshall, walked out of the hospital. Skye was wearing her normal white V-neck t-shirt under a pink cardigan sweater with tight jeans, and Marshall his casual yellow dress button down and brown suit, with a purple and green poke-a-dot tie. "Alright bud." Marshall said sitting chase in the back seat of his Dodge Demon, Skye followed to the back. Marshall shut the door and got in. They began their way back to Chase and Skye's apartment. "So... how you feeling?" Marshall asked. "Not to bad just... a bit uncomfortable." Chase responded holding Skye. Fifteen minutes went by and they made it back home. Marshall parked in the driveway and turned around to see Chase and Skye. "We need to go through with this rebuilding the Paw Patrol. For Rubble." Marshall said with deep sincerity. "I just hope he will get to see it." Skye said still holding  Chase in the back seat. "He will." Case insured them as they drove away.

16 Days Later...

12:00 am, Thursday December 1st, Chase and Skye's Apartment

Chase hobbled over to trash can with his plate and fork in hand and he scrapped his plate into the trash. On his way back to the living room he turned up the radio to hear station 201.3 ask for song dedications. Chase thought for a while. He knew who he was going to dedicate to. He dialed, "Hey! We got a caller here coming from Adventure City, Who are you, and what song?" The radioman asked "Hi, my name is Chase and I want to dedicate, Adventure City by Guns And Rodents, to My friend Marshall." Chase said texting Marshall to turn the radio on to that station. "Well all right, why you doin' it?" "Well sir. I two weeks ago I got into a bad car wreck and he was the first one one the scene to help, even before the ambulance and cops." "Well, that's a story and it's playin' now so thanks for tuning in, this is Adventure City by Guns And Rodents." As the song played Chase hung up the phone. He sat and thought for a while. He picked up his book and continued reading.

Marshall's POV...

12:00 am, Thursday, Tik And Tak Data And Actuation Service

Marshall walked into Tik And Tak Data And Actuation Service, wearing his signature brown three piece suit, yellow shirt, and funny clip-on neck tie. "Hey Berry." Marshall said to Earl, the company door greeter. Berry was a tall, elderly black man who always wore a nice sweater and peaky cap. He always had a quip and wise joke to crack. "Hey Marshall, how's your buddy hangin' up?" Berry asked shaking Marshall's  paw. "He's hangin' in there." Marshall said with a big smile. "Well get on with it now, that data ain't gonna analyze itself." Berry said to Marshall. "It probably could." Marshall said jokingly. Marshall got to his cubicle and sat down. He logged onto the company company. The phone rang, he picked it up. "Thank you for calling Tik And Tak Data And Actuation Service, this is Marshall, how may I help you today?" Marshall asked, as per casual. "Well you can start me by telling me why cable isn't working." A friendly voice said from the other end. "Dick. What's up Chase?" "Not much, listen I know it's not professional, but tune your radio in to 201.3 for a shock." "Okay? I'm scared." "Don't be." Marshall did so and as he heard his favorite song play he smiled. "You never do bore me." Marshall said barely containing laughter. "Hey, doing a solid for the first person on the scene of the crash." Chase told him. "Thanks. You always find the strangest ways to present your gratitude." "Strange ways for a strange friend." "Alright I have to go before I get caught, thanks." "No, thank you." "Bye." He hung up the phone and continued to enjoy making the most boring job, like a comedy show.

6:00 pm, Thursday, Tik And Tak Data And Actuation Service

As Marshall finished analyzing the final data set faxed to him, he stood up, grabbed his pen and travel coffee cup. As he turned out the lamp in his cubicle, Marshall said good-bye to his late night coworkers and left the office. He walked out to see the sun begin to set. "Ah." Marshall sighed. He walked over to his Dodge Demon and drove home. When he got back home Marshall opened the door to their studio apartment. "EVEREST! I'M HOME!" Marshall called out to Everest. He set his keys, mug, and hang his hat up. "Hey Hun!" She called back to him. He walked over to the kitchen and tasted the tomato soup Everest was stirring. He kissed her cheek and walked over to table. "How was work?" Everest asked while pouring out bowls of soup. "Work? It was fun, as usual." Marshall said picking up his spoon. "Hun. You analyze data. That's the most boring job on the planet." She said sympathetically. "I know. But I enjoy making it fun." Marshall said as he lifted a spoonful of soup. "Okay." Everest chuckled.

8:00 pm, Thursday, Marshall and Everest's Apartment

CRACK! SSS- Marshall cracked open a bottle of Barkweiser Beer and sat down on the couch. Everest followed with a glass of Strawberry Wine. Everest grabbed the remote and turned on the TV. "Hey put on the news." Marshall said in between sips of beer. "Why it's all negative?" Everest asked as she changed the channel. "The new weather lady is super cute." Marshall said sarcastically. "Ha Ha." Everest responded sarcastically.   "No, I like making fun of the news anchors." He said eyes glued. "Just over two weeks ago there was a bad car crash..." said the first anchor. "Hey, look at him," Marshall said pointing at the man, "he's uglier than sin." Marshall laughed. Everest chuckled.

12:00 am, Friday December 2nd, Marshall and Everest

CRACK! SSS- Marshall cracked open his fourth beer. He took a big sip. "Alright," he held up the bottle, "last one." Marshall assured Everest. "Sure. I'm gonna go to bed." Everest said turning off the TV and standing up. "Well than," he chugged the rest of the beer, "I'll go with you." Marshall said throwing the bottle away. They walked into the bedroom. Marshall loosened his belt, took off his pants, and shirt, then he put on a pair of sweatpants. He got into bed. "Goodnight." Marshall said to Everest as he turned off the lamp. "Goodnight." She said back. "Love you." They both said in unison.
