Jungkook takes in a shaky breath as he watches his company come in view.

Jin is sitting beside him, on the driver's seat. After talking with Taehyung and reassuring him.

The omega is staying at Jin’s home while they go and talk with Namjoon, their boss. At first, Taehyung was reluctant on staying, not yet trusting the beta but after some reassurance he caved in.

Jungkook doesn't know why, but he feels uneasy. He feels like there's something wrong. Like there's something bad that's just lurking around the corner. He doesn't know what this feeling is. It's like someone is squeezing his insides.

As if deep down, he knows. Deep down he knows that things aren't gonna go easy.

Which, of course it won't because Namjoon is no saint. He's the boss for a reason.

Namjoon is... Well, he's emotionless.

No one knows from where he came, how he built this company, how he keeps everything under the rug.

No one does, he's powerful and extremely smart. And it makes Jungkook worried.

It makes him worry because Namjoon is not someone you should fuck with, especially when it comes to work.

Before, he had absolutely no problem standing in front of him but now he is getting escorted to his office.

He can't help but shiver with nervousness.

Two guards are on either side of him and Jin, walking him through the corridors as if he hasn't been here numerous times. They put a password and then the door opened, revealing the Almighty Kim Namjoon.

He's sitting high, behind his desk, looking nothing less than a king.

A powerful king at that.

Hair well brushed and slick. He immediately looks up, hands joined.

Siren eyes trained on both of them as if he was waiting for them, expecting them. The two guards bow to him and then they leave, closing the door behind.

Jungkook clenches his fist to hide away both his anger and his shaking finger.

There's just something about Namjoon that hits his nerves, like he has an aura around him. A weird but powerful one. Jungkook himself is an alpha but there are times when he himself feels like Namjoon is making him submit.

Making his wolf a slave to his own.

He has heard rumours, rumours that say that Namjoon is a true blood. Which at times feels like a joke because true bloods are a myth. They do not exist.

But then he is unable to explain this aura of his and at times, he decides to believe rumours because in that way, his wolf does not feel as repulsive to the idea of submitting as he did.

For a long period of time, Namjoon does not utter a word. He just stares at them, eyes moving back and forth. The silence is frustrating, annoying, and nerving.

Finally, he speaks, “You should not have left, Jungkook”

There's calmness in his voice with a hint of disappointment. That's one thing he hates about him, this calmness of his.

People like those are like snakes, so silent, so calm, until they leap and end you in a single bite. His ex boss shakes his head, eyes back on some paper.

“I expected better from you” he says, reaching for his pen to sign something.

“I did not see you as the type to go back to your victims, to him. How careless of you, Jungkook” Jungkook bites his tongue, eyes hardening with each passing second.
