The next morning, Sara was still sleeping when she felt someone's fingers rub her head. She woke up to find her father by her side.

"Buen día, mi nena," Enrique smiled.

"Buen día, Papi," Sara smiled back. She sat up to find her father holding a wrapped package. "What's that?"

"A little something I got you in Guatemala," Enrique replied, handing the package to his daughter.

Sara removed the paper and ribbon to find a beautiful box, inside which was a beautiful heart-shaped amethyst necklace. "Que hermosa," she gaped.

"I thought you deserved a purple heart yourself," Enrique smiled, putting the necklace on his daughter.

"Gracias, Papi," Sara smiled, hugging her father.

Later, Robin was riding in her limousine on her way to the shoe store with Clover and Beth. "Can you believe everyone has been fussing over her and her daddy the entire art fair?" she muttered jealously.

"They're happy to be together, Robin," Beth pointed out. "Sara said it's been two years since she got to hug her daddy."

"Big deal, Beth," Robin sniffed. "How come Sara gets attention for reuniting with her daddy? Why can't anyone cheer for me for uniting with mine?"

"Because Mr. Martinez was serving in the army, and your daddy never did that—he's been living with you longer than Sara's did with her," Clover replied.

"Whatever," Robin scoffed. "I just hate when Sara gets so much attention. I wonder what she and her daddy are up to now."

"Why don't you check it out?" Beth asked.

The limousine was passing by Sara's house. In the driveway was a pickup truck that had been sitting in the garage for a long time. Enrique had plenty of experience working as a mechanic when he was in the military, so he decided to fix the truck here with Sara. Robin was rather curious about what the duo was doing, so the limo stopped in front of Sara's house, and the three girls got out. While the truck was running, Enrique was looking under the hood with Sara in the driver's seat.

"Give it more gas," Enrique instructed.

"Hello, Sara," Robin's voice rang out.

"Papi, these are my classmates Robin, Beth, and Clover," Sara said.

"Ah, the snotty rich girls you've been talking about," Enrique said, raising an eyebrow.

The three girls were shocked that Enrique said that, not to mention that Sara told him they were snotty.

"Nice to meet you," Clover said.

"Didn't bring any hose clamps, did you?" Enrique asked.

"No, we didn't," Beth said, checking her purse. "How long have you had that old pickup truck, Sara?"

"We've had this since before I was born," Sara replied, climbing down from the truck. "The last time we touched this was the last time Papi was here. We're trying to get it fixed up—it's pretty fun, I must say."

"How can it be fun?" Robin asked. "What's really fun is the new release of my family's new shoes."

"And is it a good idea for your dad to be fixing a vehicle?" Clover asked.

"He's fixed vehicles in Guatemala when he was in the military," Sara replied. "I guess it grew on him."

"Nice necklace by the way," Beth said. "Where did you get that?"
