The next day, the family went to take Sara's paintings to the gallery. At the gallery, Luisa, Isabela, Enrique, and Sara were hanging the paintings up on the walls and stands. Before they knew it, everything was good and ready.
"Okay, everything's ready for the art show tomorrow," Sara smiled.
"Looking forward to it, Sara," Walter smiled.
"So am I," Enrique beamed. "I look forward to knowing what everyone in Heartlake Bay has to say about my favorite artista."
"I've got a great feeling about this," Isabela smiled. "An art show on Veteran's Day with our favorite veteran—what could be better than this?" She and Enrique shared a kiss.
The next morning, Luisa and Sara were making breakfast together. Today was Veteran's Day, and this morning, there would be a little surprise party for Enrique since he used to serve in the military. Luisa was helping Sara make her and Enrique's favorite breakfast, Huevos Guatemaltecos—or Guatemalan eggs—Carmen's special recipe. It was a baked egg dish that looked like a tiny rosebush. Soon enough, the rest of the family arrived at the house. Now all they needed was their favorite veteran.
"So glad you could make it," Sara smiled.
"You didn't think we'd miss the breakfast party for our favorite veteran, did you?" Victor chuckled.
"I'll go and get him," Isabela said. She went upstairs to her and Enrique's bedroom to find that he was all dressed up. "Buen día, cariño."
"Buen día, Isa," Enrique smiled, putting his shoes on. Then he looked up and saw the goofy smile on his wife's face. "Something on your mind?"
"Close your eyes, and come with me," Isabela smiled.
Enrique closed his eyes. "¿Qué está pasando?" he chuckled.
Isabela took her husband's hand and carefully escorted him down the stairs. The rest of the family stayed quiet as Isabela walked Enrique into the kitchen.
"Okay, you can open your eyes now," Isabela smiled.
The minute Enrique opened his eyes, the rest of the family shouted, "¡Sorpresa!"
Enrique really was surprised. "Wow, what's going on?" he gasped.
"Since today is Veteran's Day, we thought we'd throw you a little party before the art show," Carmen smiled.
"Oh, gracias," Enrique smiled back.
"I swear, today is going to be a perfect day," Sara smiled.
Later, it was close to 11, and many people had come for the art show. Little did Sara and her family know that the McBrides were here, too, so Robin could ruin the art show.
"So, what's the plan, Robin?" Mr. McBride asked.
"If I pull on the fire alarm, everyone will think there's a fire and leave the gallery," Robin smirked. "They'll never think of coming back in."
"Good plan," Mrs. McBride smiled.
The door to the gallery opened, and everyone entered. Once inside, everyone took a good look at Sara's pieces, and they all just loved them. After a few minutes, Enrique said, "Okay, Sara, I'm going hit the restroom. I'll be back."
"Okay," Sara nodded.
Enrique went off to the restroom. Robin had a tough time trying to execute her plan because she couldn't find a fire alarm to pull without anyone catching her. Then she went out into the nearest empty hallway and found a fire alarm, so she pulled on it—and the alarm went off. Everyone in the gallery was scared.
