"She's a Summa Cum Laude?" Blakely asked. I immediately nodded after.
"Omg! Good for her, she'll always be my idol talaga in terms of academics." She said. "After what happened, she stayed unbothered, and strived for her dreams. Now, here she is. Finally a doctor, kuya! And you're an engineer already! Pero bakit after 5 years ka naka graduate? Engineering is a four-year course lang naman, diba?"
"Did you forget that I stopped for a year after I transferred to La Salle?"
"Why did you ba kasi, brother?"
"I handled something..important."
"More important than your studies?" She asked again.
Ang dami namang tanong nitong batang ito.
"It is." I answered.
"Why though?" Isang tanong pa, dami naman.
"I'm a business man at a young age, baby."
"Mas inuna mo pa po 'yon? Your life isn't like those k-dramas po.."
"My life isn't like a k-drama, dahil una sa lahat hindi naman ako koreano and hindi rin ako aktor. I'm a Chinese-Spanish...mas mahalaga ang negosyo para sa'kin, Blakely."
"Because you're smart naman?"
"Kind of, pero talo ako kay Kuya Blake and Ate Scarlett mo..mas matatalino sila sa akin."
"Isang taon lang din naman ang itinigil ko sa pag-aaral, you should congratulate your handsome brother nga because I graduated as a Summa Cum Laude!" Masungit na sabi ko dito.
"Congrats." She said before turning her back on me.
