Chapter 16: SHOCK SHOCK SHOCK

This is the last week of my holiday. I enjoyed it  a lot in this days. Though my nightmare didn't stop and my phobia is not cured. It's 11:30 now and tomorrow is my birthday, yes my birthday. You may be thinking why am I thinking this right now. Well both Mis. Misako and Mis. Mia is not home and I am all alone. A week before Misako's mother's health was not good so she went to her place. Mis. Mia is not home too she went to another city due to a big case so both of them don't know my birthday.

But I am not feeling bad, but happy that at last I got a friend and a person who loves me.

I was waiting for 00:00 to wish myself, if you don't have anyone no worries because you have yourself for you, so this time also I will be first to wish myself.

( It's not a joke, I seriously wish myself on my birthday, because no one is awake to wish me, so I am always first to wish myself)

While thinking this 11:59 and the bell rang.

Does Mis. Mia came?! That's great. But I wish dad was here. He was always there on my birthday, though he always came late.

I rushed to the door and opened it. "SURPRISE!!" and hearing this my eyes shone like stars. "YAY!! Dad you came. I thought you won't come to wish me !" I exclaimed and jumped on him. He caught me and spun me around. After two rounds he put me down.

"How can I miss my boy's birthday, and that is also his 16th?!!" He said and patted me. We went inside and we cut the cake he brought for me. We chatted a lot.

"Y/n .." he called me but his tone was very serious. I turned to him looking at his serious face. "Yes dad" I responded. "Come sit here." He said patting beside him. I sat there still looking at him.

"Y/n this is something I have to tell you on your 16th birthday... You aren't my child.."

"Wh-at..?" Y/n was shook to the core. He didn't prepared for this kind of situation. "Dad. D-id I do something wrong? Please don't say this... " Y/n was about to cry. "Y/n will you please listen to me?" His dad was try to calm him down, want to tell everything today to Y/n.

"Yes.." "Good, now listen, you are not my child by blood, you are adopted. When I was coming home in my old town, I saw you laying on the ground, blooded, highly wounded. Seeing you I immediately took you to the hospital. When I was searching for any way to contact your parents, I met a strange person. He gave me the number and told me you had only mother. Without thinking how he got the number I contacted your mother and told her the situation. She immediately took out her car and left to come here but..." He paused, feeling guilty as it was clearly looking at his face.

"What happened?" Y/n asked wanted to know what happened.

"She was hit by a truck and died on the spot..." He said as tears were dropping from Y/n's cheeks. After taking a paused Dad again started," When I heard that, I don't know what to do but then again he came, the mysterious man and told me to adopt you and tell you all this when you turn 16"

He opened his eyes and saw Y/n crying a river. It took him an hour to calm him down. "Morning we are going to leave." Dad declared," But why? I want to stay with Mis. Mia and Mis. Misako."  "But they don't want to." "No it's lie ."

He sighed and took out his mobile, called someone and put on the speaker.

*Ring*

"Hello?" It's Mis. Mia. " Hello, Mia  should I let Y/n here for more days?" Dad asked, obviously yes, they don't mind it.

"No!! Don't keep that hopeless child in my house!" This shook him more than anything. "Mind your language Mia. He is my boy don't you know?'" " Yes I know that, but he is so hopeless that anything I try to cure his phobia, he won't respond to anything. That brat afraid of girls, how can I cute him when he is afraid of me ?! Also send me my frees." "You don't know how to cure it. I will find better doctor for him." My dad said and cut the call.

3rd P. O. V.

He glanced towards Y/n and saw the poor boy standing there like a statue with dead eyes. "Y/n go and sleep well. We will leave tomorrow. " He told him and Y/n obeyed him and went to the room.

'It was all lie, they didn't love me. They just did this for money. Is money that important?' thinking this all the time he slept. It might be his worst birthday or might not?

In Y/n's Dream

Huh. This is weird, everything is same as nightmare but I can move. Though it is pitch black but I am not feeling afraid. Strange.

"Yes, it's not your usual dream." A heavy voice came from behind. I turned around but saw nothing. This frightened me. " Child no need to be afraid. " He heard the same voice again. "Who are you? Where are you?!" Y/n yelled ask, now want to know who is it, will he really won't hurt him?

There was pin drop silence for few seconds. "Ok" the voice said and then a figure came in sight.

"I have so many name but, for you it's Guardian," the warrior said in his usual, heavy voice. "You know who I am but you don't have the memory of that. You... " He said pointing towards Y/n . "... Are my successor. The supreme god has chosen you to be next generation of Guardian. Your main motive will be keeping the three faction in peace just like I did" He was explaining but our poor Y/n's brain has already crashed.

"Who are the three faction? Why me?" Y/n asked his doubt to the guardian, he can't win the war without information of rival. The half knowledge is dangerous.

"For you second question, the answer is in your past that I can't tell. But for first question here is the answer...

There aren't just human and animals on this Earth, Angles. Demons. Yokai. Dragon. Even god exists from millions of years. The supreme being, who created this whole universe saw the conflicts, greet lust and betrayal in every being so he formed a special group of pure heart living beings, gave them power and ordered to balance the world. Due to this war several innocent lost their lives and some kind humans decided to stop them, but they alone were not enough so we the guardians decided to stop them. The races know our power and separated us and killed all of them except me. I ramaged on them inhumanly killing everyone. I killed the three dragons and ended the war but seeing my inhumanity the supreme being gave me a curse...

Several years I floated in dark void but then a light came and got a quick message to prepare you and the next moment I was in your mind." The guardian explained which Y/n listened very carefully.

"So.. basically you are my guru?" Y/n asked.

"Guru?" "Teacher " Y/n explained "yeah."

"So Mr. Guardian.. What is your curse?"

" Don't worry you will know it, as you and me both share that curse "
