Catharine leaned over to the side of her bed and felt the smooth silky fabric of the blanket rub against her skin.
"The sun is almost as bright as fire" she said as she picked herself up out of bed. She joylessly awaited for her father to give her some stupid lecture on the events of last night, she didn't do anything wrong it was her brother who set off the entire argument but as the thoughts slipped through her head she heard the door slowly creak open.

Was it her father she was anticipating that it wasn't.
As the door flung open Mrs Rosien the handmaid who always seemed to look like she was in her forty's yet she was in her early sixties came and and ordered her to get dressed.
"Your father has much to discuss with you princess" Mrs Rosien said while folding the young girls towels.

"Oh Mrs Rosien please do not make me go to him my father is rather angry about the events of last night's dinner"
Catharine said whilst walking in circles afraid of what her father would say to her.
"I'm sorry princess but your father gave me strict orders to get you dressed and send you to him" the handmaid said with a almost laughing tone.

Catharine put on her best dress Wich is a blue dress with peraly white ribbons on the bottom and golden covered silk streaks in the dress.

"Oh how lovely you look my dear now scurry along deary don't want your father to be more upset with you now"
The hand maid said as she bugged the young girl to her doom.
