Backstory : Alexis was born to an ER doctor and biomedical researcher in Orlando before the family move to Jacksonville when Lexi was 4 years old . At 14 years old , Alexis moved to Albany , NY to take care of her sick uncle . While there , she learned about his job as a plumber and her grandfather who was an engineer . At 18 , She got accepted to Maine State University studying Hydrology and minor In engineering . She got a job offer for Griffin Rock shortly after graduation .
