Chapter 1-Off to Hogwarts

Y/n pov:

I threw the rest of my toiletries into my suitcase and zipped it shut. Running down the stairs i nearly tripped over Dobby, our house elf.
"Master y/n, may Dobby help u carry ur suitcase?" he asked
"No Dobby, I'm fine thanks and please just call me y/n," i replied.
"Ok, mas- y/n," Dobby said in return.

I was really going to miss Dobby during this year at Hogwarts, he seemed to be my only friend at home, here in the Malfoy Manor. Of course i had my brother Draco but he never paid much attention to me. He spent all his time in his room, worrying about the task Moldy Voldy had set him.

Draco had been forced to get the dark mark over these Christmas holidays, as he had turned 18. Lucky for me i'm only 16 so wont be getting mine for a while.

Anyway, i passed Dobby and reached  the cab Mother and Father had prepared for us just in time. Draco was sitting inside and Mother and Father were standing by the door waiting for me to arrive.
"Goodbye darling," my mother said gently, tucking a strand of my hair back behind my ear.
"Yes, goodbye y/n," my father added as he took my bag and placed it into the trunk of the car. I took one last look at my home, i wouldnt be seeing it for a while and ducked into the car, next to Draco. Father shut the door and turned on his heel, walking straight back into the Manor. But Mother stayed and waved me and Draco good bye as the chaffeur drove off.

I turned to Draco and asked, "Excited to see our friends again, are you?"
"Yeah i guess," he mumbled, staring out the car window.
"I heard there's a new kid coming and he's in my year," i nudged Draco. "Hopefully he's really hot and in loads of my classes." I added, eager to get a reaction out of him.
To my shock he turned quickly, grabbing both my wrists. "You will stay away from this new kid at all costs," he hissed, digging his nails deeper into my skin. Tears began to form in my eyes from the pain and surprise of his actions. Seeing this he let go and his face automatically softened.

"S-sorry y/n," he mumbled quietly, "I just dont want u getting hurt, by anyone, especially not him."
Quite hypocritical if u ask me, considering he just dug his nails into my skin.
"Fuck off Draco" i said and turned my head away from him, staring out the window.

He kept trying to apologise for the rest of the car ride but i wouldnt listen. He didnt have the right to tell me who i could hang around with. I made a mental note to welcome the new kid right infront of him when we got to the train. Maybe i would even invite him to come sit with us. That would surely piss Draco off.
