Chapter 2- Train to Hogwarts

Y/n pov:

Draco and i made our way to platform
9&3/4. Although i knew i should still be angry about how he treated me earlier, there was something more important on my mind. What did he know about this new kid that made him so protective over me hanging around him?
Yes he had always been an overprotective brother but this was taking it to another level. Was there something he wasnt telling me?

I tried to take my mind off of the curiosity and instead look for Draco and mine's friends. They should be sitting in a carrage around here somewhere, we just had to find them.
I turned to Draco, about to suggest we split up and look for them, when a long pair of arms wrapped around my waist from behind me.

Draco immediately shot a glare to the person who had just embraced me and spat, "Unhand her now Enzo, or i'll beat the shit out of you."
"Ok,ok," chuckled the boy from behind me, untwining his hands from around my waist.
"Enzo!" I greeted him with joy and hugged him tight, much to Draco's dissaproval.
"Hello, love," he replied with a cheeky smirk, knowing he was pissing Draco off.

Enzo and i werent actually dating we both just had very physical ways of showing affection. Even just as friends we would hug alot and hold hands. He was like my best friend, apart from Pansy of course. Enzo and i had known eachother since we were very young and some of my fondest childhood memories were pranking Draco with him or sneaking candy and staying up all night long watching scary movies.

"Where are the others?" I asked him, looking over his shoulder to see if they were there.
"Right over here my love," he replied, grabbing me hand and leading me to a carrage, leaving Draco to carry both mine and his suitcase behind us.

Enzo slid open the door to reveal all of our friends sitting and talking. Their heads turned when they saw me, all of them sitting up a little straighter and fixing their hair. I know i'd gotten a little prettier over the holidays but this was unnecessary.
"Hey guys," i said walking over to hug each of them.
"Hey y/n", they all replied in unison, causing us to all snicker a little.

"So....Y/n, heard about the new kid coming this year? I reckon he'll be super hot," Pansy swooned as i sat down beside her.
"Pansy, arent u gay?" I asked
"Yes," she replied, "but that doesnt mean i cant try to get u to think he's hot."
"Uhhhh sure," i said, kinda confused.

We all chatted for the rest of the train ride, filling in eachother on any drama that we'd heard over the break. When we arrived at Hogwarts my heart skipped a few beats. Yes it was my 6th year here but i would never get over the beauty of the grand castle.

We all walked inside into the great hall to watch the sorting of the first years. But what i was most excited about was the new kid and what house he'd be sorted into. I hope it was Slytherin and i hope the rumors were true and he's really really hot.
