THREE

The sound of three faint knocks disturbed my sleep. "Hon? Are you still awake?" 'It's Mom.' She opened the door, the light from the hallway entering my cold dark room.

"I'm awake now, is there something you need?" I pulled out my ear plugs that I use for sleep. Downfall of having a quirk that enhances your hearing makes it really hard to sleep. You can hear every random bump, and every floorboard creak as the house settles. The earplugs help muffle the noise to a point but it doesn't always work.

"I was talking with your father, and we both agreed for you to visit UA for a day. You can take notes on anything you see there, and if it goes well enough. We might consider getting you enrolled. What Nemuri said was true. You have to learn how to use your quirk better, and keeping you here isn't going to do that." I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"Oh my god! Thank you!!" I gave her a huge hug. "Do you know when we might have this planned?"

"Yes actually, tomorrow. I'll come wake you up early enough for you to get ready for the day. Nemuri will be accompanying you for the majority of the day. Later on you'll be popping into Aizawa's hero course class and finishing the day there. I'll let you get back to sleep, you have a long day ahead of you." She finished off with a smile, before closing my door.

'I'm going to UA!!!' I put my trusty earplugs in again and with a smile ear to ear, I slipped under my covers and closed my eyes.

--------------------------------

"(Y/N)!!! For the last time, get up or you won't have enough time to get ready! Nemuri is on her way to pick you up."

I could hear mom calling me from downstairs. 'How long has she been calling me? I really don't wanna get up. It's too early!'

-

" I'll come wake you up early enough for you to get ready for the day."

-

I shot out of bed.

"UA!" Hopping out of bed, I tried to not fall on my face as my leg got caught in my blanket. I took out my earbuds and ran for my closet. My bag caught my eye as I ran in.

Quickly dressing in a baggy black shirt tucked into a white skirt then threw on my socks and boots. Re-entering my room I grabbed my bag and started to fill it with necessities along with a notebook, sketchbook, my headphones and earbuds. I have a feeling it will be very loud, better be safe than sorry.

"(Y/n)!" Mom opened my door to find me sitting on the floor with my bag in my lap. "At least you're ready." She left my room with the door open. Pushing myself from my spot on the floor, I left the comfort of my room but not before grabbing my morse code book and shoving it into my bag as I heard the car pull up to the house.

"So, are you excited hun?" Aunt Nemi asked out of the blue. I could see the top of the UA building in the distance.

"Yea, how could I not be. I'm just nervous, what if they don't like me. What if I'm not what they have in mind?" It felt like I was sinking into the passenger car seat. I looked over to Nemi, who was in her professional hero costume. She gave me a look before continuing.

"Hon don't worry about it. You know if they don't like you, then they don't deserve you. You don't have to love them and you don't have to be in a relationship with them. Who knows you might find someone else you'll like. I already know of at least one person you might like." She had a smirk on her face now.

'That's true. I don't have to be with them. I've always been in the mindset that since I had a soulmate I had to be with them.'

"We're here." We pulled into a parking space by the back of the school.
