The string was directly over my shoulder.

"Who the hell are you? Why are you at my desk?" The voice behind me surprised me even though I knew they were behind me. The voice wasn't how I expected it to be, it was kinda raspy.

Turning around I saw a guy that looked my age. He had spiked blonde hair and red eyes.

His eyes could scare, but they held a lot of emotion behind them.

I noticed the string tied to his pinky. It's them.

"I'm sorry, I didn't realize this was anyone's seat. I'm (L/n)(Y/n), and I'm here today to observe UA." I got up from his seat and grabbed my bag along with my book that was still on the desk. He seemed to observe every move I made.

"Morse code. I should have guessed that's what you were using."

"You knew what I was doing?"

"The other day when you were tugging on the string like crazy? I was trying to figure out why. You need to slow down when you use morse code dumbass, I could hardly tell what you were saying."

"Heh, sorry." Breaking eye contact with him I looked down. 'God this is embarrassing. No wonder I didn't get a response.'

It was very silent. Not that I minded.

Out of the blue he asked. "Do you have a quirk?"

"I do, I assume that since you go here that you must have a pretty strong quirk?" A grin grew on his once expressionless face. Great, I have an egomaniac on my hands. "Your face tells me everything I need to know."

"Alright, what's your quirk then?"

"Oh, uh. It's kinda weird to explain, but I can enhance my voice level and mimic others perfectly. But my quirk also enhances my hearing, so I have very sensitive hearing. I'm not the best at fighting so I'm better to be used as a support on the team." 'I think I lost him.'

He was doing something on his phone, and seemed to be lost in thought. 'Maybe I annoyed him. I should go, Aizawa should be on his way here anyway.'

"So, um. I should try to find my way back to the teachers lounge. It was nice to get to meet you finally. Honestly I didn't know if I'd ever find my soulmate..." I stood there waiting to see if he would say anything, but again nothing. 'Maybe Midnight was right.'

I zipped up my bag and turned around to leave. 'I might get lost again. I'll send a text out to Midnight.'

1 New Message From Midnight

Auntie Nemi -

Hey hon, it's almost time for students to start shuffling in.

---

'I should definitely get going then.'

I sauntered my way to the door and was about to open the large door. When a hand grabbed my left hand holding me in place.

"Do you know your way?" It was him again.

"Not really to be honest. I'm trying to get my head wrapped around this place but it's confusing. Oh by the way, what's your name?" 'Can't believe I didn't ask that before.'

"The name's Bakugou Katsuki, and follow me I'll show you the way down."

"Nice to formally meet you, Bakugou."

He started to walk out the classroom, my hand still in his. I could feel my face flush with color. 'I just met the guy and I already like him? I gotta get to know him first.' I paid attention to his posture.

He held my hand firmly but also loose enough that it didn't hurt. It kinda made me feel safe, in an odd way.

I did my best to memorize the turns we made. I'd probably forget them once we get back anyway.

"We're here."

"Thank you." I walked towards the door before pausing. "I'll see you during the hero course." Waved before closing the door, then madly dashed to Midnight's desk.

"Woah, What's up hon?"

"IjustmetmysoulmateandIdon'tknowhowtofeel!"

"I'm sorry, run that by me again, but slower."

I let out a sigh I didn't know I was holding. "I ran into my soulmate, and I don't know how to feel."

"Your soulmate? Students shouldn't be here right now... Unless they have been asked to show up early." Midnight slowly realized who I was talking about. "Aizawa! Come here! Y/n found her soulmate and you won't believe who it is!

"Don't tell me it's Bakugou."

"It's Bakugou" I heard Aizawa sigh unamused.

"Is that bad? He seemed nice when I met him." Aizawa stood up.

"He isn't bad per say, he has good grades in all his classes, but has a bad temper. I wouldn't be able to see it workout with you two, but don't let me stop you."

"Here's the office Y/n, Let's head inside." Midnight pushed open the door to the office, sitting there was a ... mouse?

"Hello Y/n it's nice to finally meet you, you may refer to me as Principle Nezu please take a seat. I'd like to talk to you about possibly attending U.A in the future. I know your mother is skeptical on this topic." I nodded.

"I know she is very skeptical about me attending U.A, but I think she might consider it. My dad has been trying to convince her. The fact she allowed me to be here today shows me she's starting to loosen up."

"Indeed, your mother was a very headstrong girl when she attended U.A. Anyway, to put it short. Would you like to attend U.A? We will have to get your parent's approval before anything of course. If you were to accept, you would have to take the same exams the other students did." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Me attend U.A?! I could make friends with others. I could get to know him.

"I want to attend school here. But I have a question, if I'm not wrong students could get referred in by pro heroes right?"

"Correct, I know you have close ties with some pro heroes. If you could get one of them to refer you, I won't make you take the exams." I nodded. "That's all I needed to talk to you with. I'll get in contact with your mother today and give you an update. Do you have any questions?"

"None that I can think of at the moment." He nodded and waved goodbye as Midnight escorted me out.

"That went well. All you gotta do is find someone to refer you. I would do it, but I recommend asking Eraserhead or Mic. Your quirk is similar to Mic's. You should talk to him first, I know he would do it in a heartbeat." Our conversation came to a pause as we made it back to the Teacher's lounge. Students were already roaming the halls. The noise level had escalated. Earbuds to the rescue. I shoved my earbuds in and let my ears adjust to the lower noise level.

Today is going to be a long day.

Little did I know it would all change by one phone call.
