Chapter 11

Third person POV

It had been a month after their test and Naruto had not enjoyed D-rank missions not at all but he did enjoy seeing his teammates being miserable.It also infuriated him to no end that his parents and Narumi would try to get him to forgive them as he was fed up at that point.Right now he was petting a cat that was in his arms.His teammates however were covered in scratches as each one of them glared at the cat in Naruto's arms.

Kakashi:"Well done team that is your 16th mission so far."he said with an eye smile as he watched his Genin glare at him.

Kushina:"Okay let's get to the Hokage's office and then get you all another mission."

As they got to the hokage's office they saw the 4th Hokage Minato Namikaze sitting at the mission assignment desk with their former sensei Iruka sitting near him.As the approached Minato smiled as he greeted them.

Minato:"Hello Team 7 I see you have completed your mission.Now I have a few D-ranks that you can do like cleaning the Inuzuka dog kennels,harvesting the crops of a local farm or.."he stopped as he watched Tora run out of the hands of the Daimyo's wife.

Minato:"Or you can catch Tora again."he said with a small chuckle.

Menma:"Come on tou-san you can keep giving us these stupid chores!"he whined as Sasuke agreed.

Sasuke:"Yes I agree an Uchiha elite like myself is far above such missions."he said in a arrogant tone.

Iruka:"You idiots you guys are Genin D-ranks are supposed to be a learning ..."he went on about the different kinds of missions as Minato cut him off and looked towards Kakashi and Kushina.

Minato:"Well Kakashi,Kushina do you think that they are ready for it."he said in a semi serious tone.

Kushina:"They are more than ready after all we trained them."she said as Naruto held back a comment.

Naruto:'You call those blasted time wasting team work exercises training.Oh how the mighty have fallen"he thought as he had heard stories of how powerful Kushina was but now she was just a shell of her former self.

Kakashi just nodded in agreement as Minato call one of the Chunin guarding the door.

Minato:"Bring in Tazuna."he said as the Chunin left and returned a moment later with a old man wearing a pointed hat and a towel around his neck.He also smelled like a brewery and had a bottle of alcohol.

Minato:"Tazuna here are your guards for your journey."he said as Tazuna just looked at them.

Tazuna:"So your having teens guard me they barely look 18.The only capable one is that muscular one with the orange hair."he said looking at Naruto who was just standing  their with a bored look on his face.

Minato:"I can assure you Tazuna these Genin are nothing to scoff at and not forgetting the two elite Jonin senseis."he said with a glare as he didn't like his children being insulted.

Tazuna:"Alright then if you say so Hokage-sama."he said as Kakashi told his team to get ready and meet him at the village gates.

*Timeskip*

Team 7 and Tazuna were now walking through the forest as Sakura was asking Tazuna a couple of questions about his home country called Wave.

Sakura had asked if there were any shinobi there as Kakashi had gone on and told her about smaller villages having to go and pay hidden villages like Konoha for protection and other things.

While this was happening Naruto had spotted a puddle in the middle of the road.He had easily found out that it was a genjutsu as two men came out once the walked passed it and caught both Kakashi and Kushina in the chains as they were torn apart but Naruto had seen them use the Substitution jutsu  to get away safely as he watches both Menma and Sasuke take down the two missing nin down with a little effort.

Kakashi and Kushina both came out and started questioning Tazuna after they tied up the missing nin and found out they wanted to kill Tazuna.

Tazuna then explained what was happening in Wave as he asked them to help.

Kakashi:"Sorry Tazuna but this mission has changed from a C-rank to a high A-rank as the demon brothers usually travel with Zabuza Momochi a A-rank missing nin and Gato probably has more guards so this is a mission that this team can't complete."he said as he told the rest of the team to get ready and leave.

Tazuna was just there as he had gotten scared that they were going to leave him as he was watched the team get ready to leave.

Naruto:"Disgraceful really that you all would leave this poor man in a moment of need.Really I am disappointed."he said as Kakashi turned around and looked at him with a raise eyebrow.

Kakashi:"Naruto what are you saying?"

Naruto:"I am saying that I will be finishing this mission whether the rest of you are here or not after all I have no need for you weaklings to be there anyway."he said in a more arrogant and prideful tone as he had let the seal on Sunshine loose a bit.

Sasuke:"Don't you dare call me a weakling dobe I'm stronger than you will ever be!"he shouted.

Naruto didn't pay him any mind as he just looked directly at his two Jonin senseis.

Kakashi:"Naruto stop this foolishness and let's go before I report you for insubordination."

Naruto:"Do it Kakashi I don't care as I will be helping Tazuna as I won't stand for the injustice now you all can leave without me."he said as he walked up to Tazuna and left his team behind him.
