I am Astrid Gylore from Butuan City in the Philippines, I have signed up for Burbanock Records. I know it's all the way in Chicago but I had to try to follow my dreams and live up to my idols, BTS.
At The Headquarters
Looking around and it's so posh looking! It looks like a crystal ball house with marble floors and leather furniture and plain white walls. I asked the reception woman and she says to go to Auditorium-A. I walk in and it's gorgeous with a big uppercase-I (with the head and foot) shaped stage and 6 rows of plastic chairs Infront of it. There are 7 other people my age in the room as well as the coach. They're all sitting on the front row of chairs. The coach stands up, she looks around thirty with brown hair bleached at the end in a ponytail. "Oh, are you one of the new members?" I nod my head and sit down in the front row of chairs with everyone else while the coach gets onto the stage. "Okay! Now we got everyone I can begin. So welcome everyone to Burbanock Records! You all have submitted examples of your tracks and have been accepted to be on this label. So for joining me you each get your own room to stay in and I will fund you to host concerts! Underneath everybody's seat will be a dorm room number and that is what your room will be." Everybody bends down and reaches under their seats, I do the same. My dorm is East-Hall#3. As I get up and walk towards my room I begin to notice how NERVOUS I am, I've only ever sung to myself and the songs I submitted had used autotune!!! Anyway, I open my door and it's amazing! It's a moderate sized room with 2 closets one labelled with 'Clothing', the other with 'Instruments'. There's also a twin bed in the corner opposite the 2 closets, on top of the bed there is a note, 'You all have until 7pm to buy the Furniture, instruments and equipment you need.' I suddenly feel a huge amount of shame, I came here with barely any money. I immediately went to the bank and converted all the pesos I had brought into dollars, in total it was $1,050. I know it sounds like alot but I don't think it's enough to get everything I needed. Now, I mainly make acoustic-pop so I think first I need to buy an acoustic guitar. I walk into the nearest instrument shop and instantly have my eyes caught on THIS acoustic guitar.

It's part of the US. states series and its perfect! <3 I turn the Price tag over and its $184. I say to myself "Yes!!!!!!! I'm so glad I have enough!" I pick up it's box and buy a few extra wires and guitar pics. I'm sooo glad I bought it!!!! I think next I should buy furniture for my dorm and nice clothes for when I'm performing.
3 Hours Later (6pm)
I managed to buy a nice tall mirror, picture frames, a wide couch and a pretty carpet. For clothes I bought a few concert outfits that I really liked but sadly, I couldn't afford to buy any sort of keyboard. I remember I was so excited to buy it but my debit card declined. I'll probably seem lame tonight at the showcase where I get to meet everyone, ugh I'm such a loser.
