In Practise Room 02

Memory and Alvaro are sitting on the couch. Memory has her Acoustic Guitar and Alvaro has his Electro Synthesizer.

ALVARO
Hey! Can you help me write this song for Arlo?

MEMORY
Uh, she has a boyfriend-

ALVARO
No! No! No! No! Like an unrequited love song.

MEMORY
Ahh. Okay. Well can you help me with one of mine too? It's about...Moment.

ALVARO
Heh? Don't tell me you have a crush on your TWIN BROTHER.

MEMORY
No. Just, I don't mean to be throwing him under the bus but. I feel like he's the better twin.

ALVARO
In what way?

MEMORY
I'm not gonna beat around the bush so. I feel like our parents prefer him over me. He can sing better, he knows more instruments. He was one of the cool kids and I was just the nerdy school captain.

In Practice Room 01

Harlow and Rosie and Candace are inside going through their files on their laptops. Harlow has his Overdrive Guitar, Rosie has her Aurora Borealis Synthesizer, and Candace has her Snare drum.

ROSIE
Uh, did any of you get a folder from Coach Eerie?

HARLOW
I did. And it was trash.

CANDACE
Yo! Can I see it?

HARLOW
Here, it looks like something I would've wrote when I was 4.

Harlow passes the folder to Candace, it shows The Dark Ages tracklist with sections being the lyrics for each song.

CANDACE
Soooo? I don't see anything wrong with it.

HARLOW
There's no meaning. There's no idioms, no metaphors, none of these songs even have bridges.

CANDACE
Then just edit them..?

HARLOW
Oh my kylyshtasu. Coach Earwax said to include atleast one of the songs she has written but that'll ruin the entire album.

ROSIE
Wait, are you gonna disobey Coach?

HARLOW
ия! She's just our coach. She's only supposed to be teaching us. We're the artists so we are the ones who do all the writing not her. And even if she was, she wouldn't be able to understand the emotions we put into our songs.

ROSIE
Well, gotta admit. The lyrics she gave me are badly translated... And they mean dumb things...

HARLOW
See! She's not a songwriter. She's just a teacher. Just write what you want to write, we don't need her.

In Practise Room 03

Myla and Astrid are sitting on the couches. Myla has her Steel Sitar and Astrid has her Acoustic Guitar. They're both trying to come up with a melody for an opening track.

ASTRID
Yoo! I need a pick me up.

MYLA
Same! Ugh. I heard Ethan got some weed. Hopefully he's selling.

ASTRID
Imagine he got a vape!

MYLA
EEEk! I need one so bad. If the thing between him and Candace is true...maybe we could ask her to see if he's got any.

ASTRID
Yaa! Let's go!

Astrid and Myla go into Practise Room 01. They see Harlow and Rosie editing their songs at the computer desk, and Ethan and Candace having 🤭sex😫 on the couch.

MYLA
Bro! What are you guys doing?

HARLOW

Harlow and Rosie turn around and see Ethan and Candace.

HARLOW
Oh my... Sorry! I thought the moans were just as a joke!

Rosie giggles shortly and then Harlow and Rosie leave the room and shut the door.

ASTRID
So the thing between them is true?!

HARLOW
No. They're just having sex because they hate each other.

ASTRID
HEHEHHE. I'm sorry the sarcasm reminds me of an old teacher I had.

ROSIE
But, yes. They like each other.

MYLA
Man, and all we wanted was a vape.

HARLOW
Okay, I know this is in no way a vape but here.

Harlow passes a small spherical container to Myla.

MYLA
What is this?

HARLOW

MYLA

HARLOW
