❛ Don't. Give. In. ❜
BEGIN_
A loud thud echoed through the field, "Mmph!" you groaned as you landed.
"You aren't focusing." Maki sassed, making you narrow your eyes at her as you lay up on your elbows.
"Oh, are you using two sticks and have rendered me weaponless because you can't fight for yourself?" you snapped through gritted teeth.
Maki scowled at you as she stabbed a stick into the ground and began to make her way toward you. You jumped to your feet, ready for combat, but before either of you could do anything, Yuta intervened. "Woah Woah, okay, let's calm down!" he chuckled nervously.
"You're way too dangerous to give a weapon to." Maki spat, tossing Yuta's arm up.
"And lemme guess, you're way too weak to not have a weapon?" you argued once more, pushing yourself forward, but Yuta's forearm stopped you from going any further.
"Hey guys, stop it," Panda ordered.
Silence then came over everyone as you and Maki faced away from each other with crossed arms, and scowls on both of your faces. The boys sighed as they all knew this would not work out.
After a few minutes of convincing you and Maki to get along with each other, you both—without a choice—caved in and shook hands. You were fairly given a training weapon by Maki as a small sign of peace and apology.
Out of curiosity, after training was over, you questioned what events happen to occur after their routine activity. The day went on about them introducing you to their daily lifestyles. Although Maki was the one who was slightly opposed to the idea, she still initiated by giving small ideas of her day.
And once things came to end, you were once again following Yuta through the corridors of dorms. "You'll most likely be placed by the first years." he acknowledged.
"Why not you?" you questioned, soon after realizing how inappropriate that came out. "I-I mean like, you and the second years?" you corrected.
Yuta couldn't help the faint blush that crept on his cheeks after misinterpreting your question. He was grateful he was walking in front of you. "Well you're new and it's closer to Gojo," he answered after clearing his throat.
You hummed in acknowledgment and remained in silence as you continued to follow him to your dorm room. "Here it is!" Yuta exclaimed, gesturing to the door of the room.
