-the beginning-

Y/N pov:

It was an ordinary day and I was in my house doing my duties. I wiped the dust, washed the dishes and cleaned. All of a sudden, I heard someone knocking on my door. I came to the door, opened it and it was the Reverend with my old friend Simon. Simon looked happy and so was the Reverend, you could tell. "Greetings, Reverend. " I told the Reverend with a smile. The Reverend looked at Simon and then at me. Oh no. Not this. That can't be possible. I don't want to! "Y/N Hunter, you recently turned 19 and that means it came your moment for the wedding. I brought you your old friend Simon, who agreed. Now, I'll leave you here alone to get to know each other better and prepare your day. Goodbye." The Reverend left so quickly that I didn't even have time to react. If I could, I would tell him that I'm not ready yet. But actually, I don't want to live with a man at all, I will take care of the children, clean from morning to night, and the man will not help me with that at all. Simon would do anything to help no one. I didn't like him at all and now this?! That must be a bad dream!

I closed the door, turned to Simon with an uncertain smile. "Simon, I-" Simon quickly cut me off and said, "Y/N I've been waiting for this moment my whole life. I love you! I want to have children with you! I want to do everything possible because I love you!" Simon was extremely happy and grabbed my hands and slowly approached me and said everything with a smile on his face but I don't want this. "Simon" I told him in a calm voice to calm down and I kind of hit him to stop. Simon stopped but he didn't understand me at all. "Simon, I don't want to hurt your feelings, but I don't want this. I want to find my own love. I want to-" Simon cut me off, looking flustered. "Y/N, I did everything when we were little just to make you happy!" Simon started to get angry. "I wanted to live with you forever, but you're telling me that you don't want me?!" "Simon, I'm sorry but-" Simon became more and more aggressive. "I did everything! Everything! Just to get to you! And you tell me you don't love me!" "Simon, calm down." I began to stress and fear that he would hit me. Simon became terribly aggressive until he slapped my face so hard that my lips started to bleed. "I don't understand! what did I do wrong?! Tell me!" " Simon threw me to the ground and looked at me. "Say!" I was stunned and suddenly I saw Simon's feet approaching and kicking me in the stomach. The door opened and I heard the Reverend's voice.

"What are you doing?!" The Reverend was amazed at what Simon had done. "She is a witch. She wanted to charm me so I wouldn't marry her!" Simon said to the Reverend. what?! How could Simon say this to the Reverend?! I stood up with a terrible pain in my stomach. I had to lean against the table and when I lifted my dress to be able to looking at my stomach, I couldn't believe it. I had bruises and blood on some parts. I don't understand how. My lip was always bleeding and suddenly I just heard the Reverend's scream, "Y/N Hunter, you were accused of witchcraft and trying to curse Simon." I couldn't believe my ears. How could this happen? Me a witch?! how! I tried to say something, but I had terrible pain in my stomach until a tear ran down my cheek. "Your punishment will be Death!" The Reverend shouted and when I looked at him with surprise, I saw the others approaching my house. I was scared and was so horrified that tears started to collect in my eyes and cheeks. I don't want to be dead. I was terribly afraid, I didn't know what to do. I quickly looked around the room and saw an open window. The Reverend and Simon were approaching me, but I didn't want to die, so I quickly started running to the window and jumped out of window. I found myself outside. I stood up quickly and ran into the forest. There were an enormous number of people behind me. But when I entered the forest I lost them. I ran so fast that I tripped over a stick that was half in the ground and half outside. I was falling down a small hill and I felt every stick scratching my back. When I hit the ground I sat down and started to cry. I can't believe it. I'm lost in the forest and on top of that Simon got dirty my name. I started to cry profusely and I didn't know myself calm down. This is the end of me.
