Mrs. Matts stood up. "Oh, god." She shoved at Mr. Matts, who was snoring. He got up and rubbed his eyes. "What is it, Rachael? " Rachael didn't reply. She stared ahead, mouth gaping. Jacob looked ahead. "What the- Holy!" The creature seemed like it was looking down.
Maya Matt's hair blew in the wind. The tribe chanted around a boy. Wait... It was that masked thief! That's what you get for stealing, thought Maya. " Aah. Help. I'm so scared. Aah." said the guy, sarcastically, tied onto a stick. Maya eye rolled. But, she kinda felt sorry for him. Being tied and turned over a boiling pot. Maya sighed and decided to help. She jumped up on her hiding place and yelled, "Over here, you black, mindless people!" Not that she was racist. The chief looked at her, "Čo?! Získajte to dievča a dnes večer budeme hodovať na dvoch." Translated from Slovak back to English, "What the?! Get that girl and we'll feast on two tonight." Sheesh. You really need to learn at school. Maya jumped in, and held up a fist. "Don't forget, I'm a black belt in karate!" The tribe swarmed. Maya head locked, punched, kick, tongue pulled, kick, punch, head locked, tongue pulled... you get the idea. Soon Maya had gotten to the past the tribe. "Ok- Give me -" She stared at the empty space. "ARRGH!!!" Maya screamed. The masked boy poked his head out behind a tree and put his finger to his mouth. "Shh. They might wake up!" Maya held her breath and tip toed over. "Ok, give me the spear." The boy eyed her. "Do I know you?" Maya wanted to punch him. "Oh, right, you're that screaming girl I met." The boy pulled something from his sheath. "Here" Maya stared blankly. She never thought it was going to be this easy. "Thanks?" She hesitated, and then took the spear. The boy nodded and put his hand up. A vine shot down. He grabbed onto it and zoomed into the air.
Maya cursed the boy. Her pack was now empty. Her veins bulged in her head. "Next time I get you, you cursed turnip, I will crush you!"
Meanwhile, the masked boy sat on his deck in his hammock, twirling Maya's pocket knife, saying "Don't forget, I'm a black belt in robbery."
