"Chris don't forget we are supposed to have a sleepover this weekend" I say as I run up my front porch.
" I promise, I will meet you here by the swings tomorrow after school." he say as he walks up the pathway to his house.
Then tomorrow arrives and his promise is not kept, he didn't come to the swings. He had flown to Korea, leaving me for his biggest dream. Becoming an idol.
Did he not want me to know, was he embarrassed for them to know that his best friend was a girl? Am I not enough?
