" This not as fun as I thought it would be." I mumbled as I stared and the people who were once people I called my family, people who I thought were really my family.

Even though I had inflicted a lot of pain on everyone here, it wasn't enough, If I were to kill them even that wouldn't be enough. It won't make up for the years lost, the years I spent in the dark about who I am.

I needed more from them...

"Would you like for me to take over?"

I frowned, the voice from when I first transformed coming back into my mind.

"What will happen if you do that?"

I asked waiting on a reply.

"I don't think that's something you'd want to do." I heard a different voice, but this person wasn't in my head. I looked up in the direction the voice came from.  There stood a woman with brown skin and beautiful facial features, her hair was brown, curly, almost in an afro-type style. Behind her stood another woman, two other men, and Poet.

For some reason, I could feel a lot of almost overwhelming energy radiating off of them. Similar to Poet's, but stronger.

"Who are you?" I asked as I stared at her.

"Your mother sweetheart." She smiled at me before walking over, she looked at everyone I had tied up for a second before she waved her hand over them and everyone disappeared.

I stepped back and looked at her "Where did they go? I wasn't done." I narrowed my eyes at her.

"There's no need in pointless torture that they were just going to be numb to within an hour. So I sent them home. They'll get the punishment they deserve." She spoke before turning towards me.

"You're not acting like a mom who's just reunited with their long-lost daughter."

"Well, how do you expect me to act sweetheart?" She smiled, but it was off. Something was off... this doesn't feel right.

I could feel my heart increase as I started to panic. I quickly tried to make my way toward Poet but a hold on my wrist stopped me.

"You must come back home. You have a lot to catch up on, family waiting to meet you, your husband is waiting to m-."

"Excuse me?" I asked chuckling a little snatching away from her hold. "When I decide to do anything it'll be on my time, and I'm not marrying someone I don't know from a can of paint."

I knew something was off.

I heard a chuckle come from Poet causing me to turn to look at him. I immediately relaxed when we met eyes. "I don't know what type of shit you're on, to be honest. I don't even care, but, I'm about to get Keer and we're about to go home."

I nodded agreeing "Last time I checked, you aren't king correct? You wanted no part of that life, you chose to live here amongst disgusting humans. You have no say so." She spoke.

"I'm about to cut this short right now. Watch who son you speak to like that, okay? Mm okay. They're each other souls, and she's a grown-ass woman who can make her own decisions."  Poet's mom spoke, with a look of aggravation.

"I don't remember asking you, quite frankly." My 'mom' spoke.

"Let's not argue, okay?" I asked them looking between them both. "Can I have time to process everything, then I'll reach out to you. As for arranged marriage, it won't be happening. Everything else is something we'll see about." After I spoke I made my way back to Poet.
