It was 7:00 in the morning.
I awoke to hearing the sound of rain pitter-pattering on my bedroom window. I groaned, rubbed my eyes, and stared intensely at my clock's display whilst sitting up in my bed. The green light from the LCD display brightly shone in my face. I turned back, and groaned as soon as the bright light got into my eyes. I then got under the covers, once again wrapping myself up in the nice pocket of warmth underneath.

As the warmth slowly engulfed my body, I smiled, and slowly started drifting away to sleep again. But all of a sudden, as I was in the middle of dozing off, my electronic pet toy that was sitting on my bedside table, started beeping away. "Ugh, what does it want anyways?" I thought. I then snatched it off of my bedside table. To my surprise, as I snatched it, it started glowing. "Psst!" spoke a squeaky voice from the toy, followed by a pixellated rabbit showing on the screen. "Uh—look, um," the rabbit spoke, awkwardly. "I'll just make it easier for you if you come along..." continued the rabbit.

As soon as the rabbit finished, I got whisked away to a colourful meadow with lots of flora and fauna—and surprisingly, loads of party decorations sitting on the grass. "You see, I'm trying to get people for our awesome party contest...and I just happened to choose you," the rabbit added, with my hand now clutching my electronic toy that the small little rabbit had appeared in. "A...party...contest?" I asked. "Yes! That's right! All you gotta do is make the coolest looking party EVAH! YEEAH!" said the rabbit enthusiastically, visibly excited.

"But, if you said that you got other people...where is everyone else anyways?" I added.

"Oh! They're over here! Come on!" said the rabbit cheerfully. As soon as the rabbit said that, my electronic toy transformed into a hoverboard. I jumped on it, and swiftly arrived on the other side of the meadow where the others were.

To my surprise, as I looked around, all of the other people had similar characters on the screens of their electronic toys too. "What happened to mine anyways?" I asked the rabbit. "Oh! That's right! When we discover you, your electronic toy becomes a guide!"

"Who's WE?" I asked sternly, starting to get quite suspicious of the presence of a talking electronic toy that wasn't even sentient in the first place when I got it. "Oh! That's Uta. Uta's...different," spoke another sentient electronic toy hovering above me, bobbing up and down. "My name's Sparky, the number one pro at using cheese to—"

"SPARKY! You ruin everything..." whined the rabbit. "If it weren't for you, YOU wouldn't have chosen this person who doesn't even know ANYTHING about this in the first place, because you can't even TELL them about how this works PROPERLY because you STRUGGLE with it!" argued Sparky. Sparky then flew off.

"Oh!" said Uta. "I didn't catch your name! My name's Uta! What's yours?"

"It's Mabel," I said.

"Mabel...hmm... Very well, Mabel! Come here! I'd like to introduce you to your fellow teammates for this party competition!"
