Before you begin, there's something you need to know.
31 Days of Peril was a concept for an object show that I came up with around October in 2022. You see, I've always generally had a big problem when it comes to making object shows, due to both struggling with structuring them and being unable to come up with a story for them.
Only on November 13th 2022 did I ever just come up with a story based on 31DOP's original concept, and that's why I decided to adapt it into a story here.
31DOP is just one of the many object shows I've scrapped.
Other scrapped object show concepts:
Thrown Specks of Sand - Joke object show.
Tainted - Episodic object show. Took place in a wood. 'Crystallies', the four items that were in the wood that protected said wood, went missing. Now, the leader—who's also the protector of the Crystallies, along with some new friends, go on a journey to find them.
I once had a concept for an object show where there were a trio of friends that had become objects by a curse. The only way that they had to undo it was by them defeating and confronting the one that transformed them into objects in the first place. And, along the way, they would've learned how to deal with being objects.
Retro Riot - Usual object show format. The objects, hence the title name, were old gaming consoles and home computers, along with old electronic toys, gadgets, and peripherals.
Medieval Madness - Usual object show format. Took place in a dilapidated, rural castle. (Inspired by the likes of the children's television game show programmes Splatalot and Fort Boyard that I watched when I was little)
The Adventure To An Awesome Descent - Usual object show format. Concept was scrapped early, due to having no lead plot.
35 Days/37 Days of Peril (original concept of 31 Days of Peril
) - Animated sketch/usual object show format. Idea was that the segments of the competitions would be shown in the middle of the sketches. Had a character/spoof based both on and off my Tamagotchi OC/UTAU voicebank Utautchi, named UT4U7CHI. UT4U7CHI was literally just Utautchi housed inside a Tamagotchi. UT4U7CHI's personality was a big contrast to that of Utautchi's. Talkative, cynical, yet cheerful and grumpy, UT4U7CHI would've annoyed, yet fascinated objects that took her as their companions with her Japanese and English bilingualism. UT4U7CHI's speech when talking would've been bitcrushed, emulating the style of old electronic PCM (Pulse code modulation) audio.
One of the very first sketches planned for it was called Uta's Got A Lot To Say/Will You Shut Up?Pieces of concept art:
