The door bell rang loudly for the second time.
"I'll go get it" Aramide said to efosa,her elder sister. They were in the kitchen cooking lunch.
"Hurry,it must be the my package" efosa said,not removing her gaze from what she was doing.
It was the despatch rider who brought efosa's skincare products. Aramide helped her to sign the paper and closed the door after her.
"Was it?" Efosa yelled from the kitchen.
"Yeah....arami essentials."Aramide said, ripping the package's nylon.
Efosa switched off the gas cooker,cleared the kitchen and went to her room. Aramide was on her bed, reading the labels on each product.
"You should try their products,it's so nice" efosa said, opening the body cream and inhaling the scent with a big smile on her face.
"Really? ....I like my dove and Nivea combination" Aramide answered
"They're all good but try arami essentials and you'll be convinced. A trial will convince you"
"I didn't know they've hired you to be their brand influencer." Aramide laughed.
"Abii oo,with this skin ehn... they'll sell"
Efosa and Aramide are not blood related. Efosa once grew up in the orphanage and when she was in the prime of her teenage years, salami came to rescue her. He was doing well financially and decided to raise one of his fellow ones in the orphanage where he grew up too and then when he took great care of efosa,he told efosa to return the favour by taking one of the kids in orphanage and raise the person well and that was exactly what efosa did. Aramide never regretted being with efosa,efosa her mum and a big sister indeed. Efosa told her to think of her as an elder sister and she swore to go extra miles to take care of Aramide. Now efosa is doing well, working in one of the best oil companies in the country and her salary is quite huge for a young girl who has no responsibility.
"Lest I forget,I have a date this evening" efosa shrieked and Aramide gave a blank expression.
"Why that look?"efosa stopped and gave Aramide a questioning look.
"Didn't you say you're not going into any relationship until next year?"
"Let me at least try my luck"
Efosa walked to her wardrobe and threw some dresses on the bed. She placed an off shoulder silver sequenced body con dress with slits starting from the knee.
"No!" Aramide said firmly.
"What about this?" Efosa asked,placing a short black flared dress with strapless back.
"This will definitely not do"efosa as she dropped the dress on the bed and picked another one. It was dark purple satin short body con dress with slits starting from the mid thigh.
"Woah" Aramide almost shouted in excitement.
"Don't eat this afternoon oo don't even drink water" Aramide warned as efosa wore the dress.
"I'll just take a glass of water ...what heels do you think will go with the dress?"
"Wear that black heels" Aramide said pointing to the black valentino rockstud heels on the shoe rack.
"Taaaar..... for where."
"Just give him an impression that you're not those pepe girls"
"Eheen... okay na"
