I was trying to go in some sort of order, but I realized a missed a few things.

Some of us are really happy if he gets a redemption arc, the rest to us absolutely despise it and wish we could lock him in jail

But! Ro standing up to him in the third chapter of Stellarlune

That was so good

She said, while talking about the scars on her head, and I quote, "You're right. My father did make this mark. He's done the same thing to all his most trusted warriors. And when he cut it, I felt his pride, and respect---and yes, I actually did feel his love. Can Keefe say the same about anything you've done for him?" She waited for Lord Cassius's smile to fade before she added, "You elves like to talk about ogres as if we're these cold, brutal creatures. But I've never seen anything as cold and brutal as the way you treat your son."

Like.

Yes.

Tear him apart. He deserves it. He deserves to realize that the way he treated his son was not okay, and it never will be.

And after that happened, he wasn't all that useful. He gave Sophie a memory that shows Lady Gisela was a Conjurer, and there was another step to stellarlune, but that virtually was it.

And the next chapter, we also got canon proof that sometimes when Lord Cassius lectured Keefe, he cried. It literally says it in the book. (Page 66)

Like.

Keefe would literally start to cry when Lord Cassius lectured him and yelled at him and called him names

So.

I hate him.

But I also find it so funny that Lord Cassius doesn't even know Keefe is back from the Forbidden Cities yet. No one told him. He has no idea.

*snickers*
