Authors POV

The port city didn’t seem to have noticed the fire. They reached the forest and took the path that Y/N had mentioned. As told by her, a small bridge came. The forest was slightly covered with smoke. The young men arrived at the village to see burned houses and slaughtered villagers. Shocked, they looked around, hoping Y/N wasn't among the dead.

"Y/N!" the cook screamed, hoping for an answer.

They searched the whole village and checked every body. The first officier saw a, for him known figure lying on the ground. She was almost lying on her stomach, on her side with her face to the ground.

"Guys, i found her!" He shouted and pulled the unconscious girl onto her back. The rest of the crew ran up to their first officier and looked at the girl in shock. The doc of the crew went to her as fast as he could and crouched down to her.

"Y/N, can you hear me? Open your eyes." He said loudly as he shook her shoulders to wake her up. He saw a smal puddle of blood next to her and turned his gaze to her body. He slowly pulled up the girls top and saw a large, deep and open wound on her stomach.

"She is losing too much blood, i have to stop the bleeding. It could be, that she had other injuries." He stuffed a cloth into her wound to stop the bleeding.

"Mingi, you'll carry her." The captain said as the first officier took the girl in his arms. The doctor put his finger on her neck, hoping for a heartbeat.

"Her pulse is very weak, we have to take her to the ship." The crew hurried back to the harbor as fast as they could. At the ship, the first officier carried the unconscious girl into the sickbay. He laid her carefully on the bed and stepped away for the doc.

"I need two of you to help me. I have to wash and stitch up the wound so it doesn’t get infected, means she'll be in a lot of pain. I then need you to hold her down." He said while lifting Y/N's top high enough to have a good look on her wound, but only high enough so that her chest was still covered.

"I'll help you."

"Me too."

The weapon-/ and quartermaster went to their friend and stood on the opposite side.

"Ok, good, you all can go, i'm doing here as fast as i can."

"Whether fast or slow, save her." Said the captain quietly before he left the room with the rest of his crew.

"I will." The doc replied quietly to himself as he tried to drain the excess blood from her body.

Doc POV

To get a better look on her wound, i had to wipe the remaining blood of her body. It’s actually a miracle that she’s still alive with this wound. She’s stronger than she looks. I was able to stop the bleeding after a few minutes. As far as i could see, she had no other injuries. But something Was wrong. Her breathing slowed and her skin grew paler.

"Yunho, what’s wrong?" I snapped out of my thoughts.

"I don't know, she should be able to breath normally again. I'm missing something but i don't know what." I hysterically looked at Y/N's body again. Her chest hardly rose at all. Wait, it could be, that air is trapped between the lungs and chest wall cause it’s leaking out of her lung. If this continues, her lungs will collapse, before death. She needs a drainage, the air has to go out. I quickly walked across the room and gathered my things.

"Yunho, what’s wrong?" Jongho asked.

"Excess pressure has built up in her lungs, causing air to leak out of her lung. The air is between her lungs and chest wall. I need a drainage to get the air out. If i don't, her lung collapse, making her unable to breath and she'll die."
