Robin's Story

Chapter 5

"OK guys, get settled now. We have a meeting about next week's show. Scooter what ya got?" Kermit asked.

"Well boss, we have Gonzo doing back flips while singing the National anthem backwards." Scooter said.

"Gonzo, how many times do I have to tell you?" Kermit said.

"oh come on Kermit, I got this, people would love me." Gonzo said.

"Yeah love you to get out of the stage." Waldorf said laughing.

"sheesh." Kermit said.

"what else do we got?" Kermit asked Scooter.

"You have a duet with Piggy." Scooter said.

Kermit gulped. "Uh, i can't do it." Kermit said.

"Why's that?" Miss Piggy said behind him.

"um, because I can't sing. You sing lovely and I sing like a dying animal." Kermit said nervously.

"Hmph." Miss Piggy said walking away.

"Good Grief." Kermit said.

A few hours later, the clock rang for everyone to go home. Kermit left last because he had to lock up.

Kermit walked home, Robin left with the others because Kermit wanted him in bed early.

Kermit finally arrived home and was exhausted. He couldn't even get upstairs because he was so weak and tired. He laid on the couch and was really tired.

"I don't think I've ever felt this tired before." Kermit said with a yawn.

Soon he was fast asleep.

The next morning arrived and everyone woke up getting ready. Kermit didn't wake up since he didn't have his alarm clock.

Scooter, the first downstairs, found Kermit sleeping on the couch.

"Boy, he sure does looks exhausted."Scooter said.

"Yeah, why don't we just give him the day off." Fozzie asked.

"Yeah but you know him, he always works and never stops." Scooter said.

"I know but he has nothing today. And remember last time he worked when he couldn't?" Fozzie asked.

"oh yeah, he was rushed to the hospital." Scooter said.

"So let's just give him one day." Fozzie said covering Kermit.

"alright." Scooter said.

The two boys sat there next to Kermit who was still asleep.
