You woke up the next morning with a wicked headache. It was like someone had it you right on your forehead. You felt like everything around you was closing around you. You pushed your pillows against your head, trying to drain out the pain when your remembered a certain detail from the night before.

"Do you, want to go out, on a date, with me?"

The words rang in your head as a smile crept onto your face. You squealed under your blankets, but then soon regretted it because your head was in immense pain. You groaned the slowly removed you comfy warm blanket off of your body. You wanted to pull them back over your head as the cold air hit your body.

You got up slowly, stretching your arms and yawning.

You walked over to your bathroom and decided to take a shower. The hot water was amazing and made all of your muscles relax as you began to wash your body.

A few minutes later you got out and did your usual morning routine before going and trying to find an outfit for the day. After a few minutes of staring blankly at your closet, you thought it would be better if the weather picked it for you. You looked out the window and saw gray-ish blue clouds. Rainy.

You went back to your closet and picked out a cropped light-pink shirt and some jean shorts. It might be rainy, but it was still summer and it was still humid. You went back to your bathroom and did your makeup and then packed your school bag, thinking about all the work you had to do.

You sighed, walking down the stairs, only to smell bacon and eggs. You smiled to yourself and sat down at the kitchen table.

"Good morning honey. Did you sleep well?" Your mom asked, putting a plate of food on the table.

"Yes mom." You responded.

You plugged in your headphones and started listening to your favorite playlist. You finished your breakfast and went to go brush your teeth quickly. When you were done, You put on your shoes, kissed your mom goodbye and went out the door.

Sometimes, on mornings like these, where you were usually earlier than usual, you would go hand out at Amanda's until you had to go to school. You started walking over to her house, kicking random objects on the ground, your mind wandering and thinking about random things.

A few minutes later you got to Amanda's place and went to go knock on the door.

A little girl answered, that had some of Amanda's features. Her blond curly hair, dark brown eyes.

"Hey Steph! How was your recital!" You asked enthusiastically while she let you in.

"Oh Y/N! It was so fun! I put on a bunch of makeup and this cute pretty blue dress and pretty purple shoes! It was magical!" She said with a huge smile. Stephanie was like your little sister in some ways. She looked up to you kind of as a role model. You like makeup and taught her how to do hers. For a 6 year old, that's pretty impressive.

"Oh my gosh! Do you have any pictures for me?" You asked. "Of course! Mommy!" She ran into the kitchen and you saw her mother making breaking for her kids.

"Yes sweetie?" She responded, without turning her back from the stove. "Where are the pictures you took of me from my dance recital?" Stephanie's mom turned around and smiled.

Amanda's mother had to be one of the sweetest person you've ever met. She never got mad. She always was there for her children. She was there for you.

"Yes. They're on the dining room table." She told her. Stephanie giggled and ran to the dining room. "Hey hon." She said to you.

"Hey Mrs.M, How's it going." You asked her, watching Stephanie from the kitchen. "Oh I would say it's going pretty good. Walter decided to take us on a trip to Florida in two weeks. We still haven't told the children yet though." You nodded along as you knew this wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Amanda's family was rich beyond belief. They seemed to have money for everything.

But they weren't the bitch kind of rich people. They were kind souls. Mr.Miller was the CEO of one of the biggest beer companies in the area. Mrs.Miller volunteered at the local library and sometimes the daycare. They had four kids in total. Quinn, the oldest and was in uni, was a nice girl, kind of on the party side though. Isaac who was a year younger than Quinn was at a college on a Football scholarship. Amanda who was in her last year of high school, and finally Stephanie, the youngest by 11 years.

Stephanie came back to you and showed her the pictures from the night before. She had her curly hair up into a ponytail, with blue eye shadow and purple lipstick. She had a light baby blue dress on with sparkly purple shoes. She looked adorable.

"Oh my gosh! Your sooo cute!" You hugged the tiny girl and felt her arms wrap around you. "I know!"

You let go of the girl and walked upstairs to Amanda's room, opened her door and saw something you never would've expected.

Amanda was, crying.

Tears were rolling down her face, makeup ruined, crying.

"Amanda! What happened?"
