DEMIGOD: DAWN OF TIME

MEN IN ElYSIAN UNIFORM.

Morning, night. I slept, I woke up.
After that night, I made myself to be more cautious, in never letting something like that happen again.
And luckily, nothing like that happened ever since then.

But when I thought about the other night of the incident...
I suddenly realised, that when the twins lead me back to my room. The entire hall seemed much brighter than earlier when I was trying to find my way.

Now, there were torches and lamps all around, one couldn't ever miss their way.
So what happened back then?

I couldn't figure it out, so I just tried my best to shrug it off my mind, knowing it was all just a dream and I would be leaving it soon.

But honestly, if it wasn't for the unexplainable even that had made me find myself outside my room, I would never have loved to come out. Not when you are hated... especially by a siren girl, No...

But I still really couldn't imagine how a wall could become an illusion. I mean.. I wanted to think it was just a dream, but my mind told me it was not. I would look at the wall as each day passes through and would wish to walk towards it and feel it again.

But I couldn't let what happened the other day happen again, so I ate back my curiousity.
And instead drifted my thoughts to my uncle Cedric. I remember the day after the incident, when the twins told me I had met him...

"We see you have met prince Remiel..."

"Uncle Cedric?... where?....I haven't seen him.." I said to them.

"I haven't..." But I trailed off in my voice as my mind went back to the man I saw the other day...

Could it be....

"Of course! you have..., He is the one whom you met in the room yesternight.." Abel giggled at me.
"And you did say...he doesn't interfere with the human activities...so I guess that was why he didn't recognize you...." While Zach explained.

And as he reasoned, I just sat there frozen with my mind and brain trying to reset...

That was uncle Cedric....
That was uncle Cedric!

How could he be uncle Cedric!
Well.., they did tell me before that he wasn't a human, and he is actually the prince of the Elysian realm...

But...

Although I was pretty curious of how he would look like actually, I guess I just didn't expect him to be that beautiful....and.... alluring...
I mean, i just couldn't explain...

Wait....
Then it dawned at me. The way he dressed and looked..., Even though the others like the siren queen had an unearthly powerful aura...
His was much more different and worse...

No wonder..., He really is the Prince...

But he also really seems so much different...
Back then in the human world, he never smiled or show any emotions...
But that day...
He actually had a conversation with me and.... smirked.

I don't know why that thought made me feel...sort of happy?
Well, it was probably because this was the first time seeing him show an emotion.

Ever since then...., My mind continued thinking of him....
And it continued drifting off far...to the extent that I even actually thought of staying a little longer, just to see him again....

In a forest, a big cart was passing through as the one who seemed to be a dwarf, pulling it continued struggling to. While the other dwarf who sat on top of the cart kept singing....

Until the dwarf pulling the cart suddenly stopped and breathed out heavily...

Immediately making the dwarf on top to pause in his singing, while he stared down at him as he spoke...

"Hey... Agnew..."

"What..." The one named Agnew snapped at the one on top.

"Are you feeling tired?... You seem to be slowing down..." The one on top said...

"Oh I'm sorry for the inconvenience Gideon..., But perhaps I would have been faster if I didn't have someone sitting on the cart!"

The one named Gideon paused before saying to him "Why are you so worked up...."
But Agnew only sighed as he spoke to him.
"Just get your fat ass body off the cart and come pull it with me..."

"Oh no no no no...you see..." Gideon suddenly rested his whole body on the cart as he moved towards Agnew's face... Adding more weight to the already heavy cart Making Agnew unable to move again...

"This is how we do it....
You do the carrying of the cart, while I...lead the way....hmm?"

"I mean we practically would have been lost if it weren't for me leading the way...."

But Agnew only rolled his eyes while muttering..
"I'm starting to believe we are actually lost..."

"Why say that?..." Gideon asked.

"Because we have been practically! Walking in this forest for an whole hour!"

"Relax...., Just keep pulling the cart while I lead us out of here....And besides, you eat a bigger portion of the food we find...." Gideon shrugged lazily while he sat back and rested his head on the load behind him.

"I eat it to have strength!" Agnew couldn't help but snap back at him for what he said...

"See?...., You are practically the one enjoying..."

He looked at his crazy friend one more time..., Before sighing and continued to pull the cart...

"That's more like it...., Now where did I stop in my song....
Ah....yes.., Oh....." As he started raising his voice to sing again....

He suddenly got interrupted by another loud sound in the forest...
And both the dwarfs froze when a sudden light appeared at the opposite side, right in front of them....

And as the light formed a big portal, many men dressed in the Elysian soilders uniform were leaping out of it while immediately running off.....as if knowing exactly where their destination was headed...

And as they continued leaping out until they finished, the portal immediately closed back....
And after a while of practically standing frozen in their spots....

The young dwarf immediately whispered into the other's ear... saying
"Um..., You are actually right my friend...this isn't the right way....now, why don't we back away..." As he said that, the frozen dwarf's hands instantly reacted by pulling the cart as he backed away and kept on backing away.....

Till, they reached the other side of the forest.... before immediately pulling the cart faster and running off in speed....
