Y/n and the rabbit went and explored the other houses although he doesn't find much it's better than nothing, the village was small but not too small looking around while going into a different house he sees that there was a fence surrounding the entire village but that didn't stop whoever attacked this place nor the goblins from getting in and looting what's left of the village, searching another house didn't give him much and with all the houses pretty much checked and with only a few places left to search left, Y/n begins to talk to his new friend he had grown to like the little rabbit he didn't know it's gender so he won't assume what it is and just ask when he has the time, despite the rabbit not being able to answer since it's an animal it listened to him with interest as it wants to know more about it's possibly new companion, despite still being a little cautious about each other they stick together and the rabbit knows that he owes the human a favor for saving it's life, as they search what looks to be an armory or workshop of sorts and despite it being pretty much empty Y/n finds something interesting.

Y/n:Wow this looks like it could be useful although I haven really used one of these.

What Y/n found was multiple parts for an unfinished weapon and by looking at the parts he deduced that it was a crossbow, it was disassembled into multiple parts and it looked unique to be a regular crossbow but by looking at some incomplete blueprints he had a hunch as to what's its use would be.

Y/n:The blueprints are obviously incomplete since some parts in the table aren't in the blueprints at all, looks like someone was making a brand new ranged weapon and was updating the blueprints when the village was attacked I wonder why they didn't take this, I mean It looked to be halfway done some parts are already placed into the body of the crossbow while others are already prepared, I guess I got lucky this time.

Taking the incomplete crossbow along with the leftover tools and blueprints and placed them into his inventory, he searched the rest of the armory/workshop but found nothing other than a few arrows or more accurately crossbow bolts inside a small quiver with a weird container inside it as well the bolts were a little small but that might give him a clue as to what the weapon is, he knows it's a crossbow but it's design is different it's definitely not the same crossbows that he saw in his previous life that's for sure, and as for the container he didn't know what it is but he still took it anyway hoping for it to be something of use.

Exiting the armory/workshop, Y/n looked over the rabbit to see how he's doing, the rabbit was going fine but it looked a little thinner, seeing this he took out a carrot but seeing as some parts of it had rotted he bit off the rotting parts much to his displeasure and gave it to the rabbit.

Y/n:Here ya go buddy, you looked a little hungry so here's a carrot, don't mind the bite marks some parts were rotted.

The rabbit sniffed the carrot briefly before taking a bite out of it, slowly chewing it as it's either savoring it or trying to taste if there as anything else in the carrot, when he found nothing he continued to eat the carrot at a much faster pace, seeing this Y/n took out another carrot and proceeded to do the same thing to the first one before giving it to the rabbit, he then took out his waterskin and thanks to his Survivalist profession he was able to see that the water was drinkable he then though that the rabbit was gonna take a drink before he saw him, so he decided to give the rabbit some water by pouring some in his palm and when the rabbit drank all the water from it he would pour some more until it was satisfied, doing a quick inspect of the water skin reveals that the rabbit drank 27% of the water this also included the small sip he took while feeding the rabbit so that the rotten taste of the carrot would wash off his tongue, once he finished feeding the rabbit he placed at waterskin at his inventory and looked at the rabbit and smiled as the rabbit seems happy to be fed with carrots due to the tendrils being more lively which is possibly a display of emotion but he won't assume, after he soaked in the happiness, for a second he then when inside the final house or more accurately a forge, it wasn't spared as well as most if not all the tools and materials have been taken by the ones that lived here or the goblins that looted it, he told the rabbit to stay put at the door after that he searched a little bit before finding something shocking, since he hasn't tried to control his emotions nor keep it stable, considering all the shocking things he's seen, he hasn't really tried to meditate like he usually does in his previous life, so this shocked him the most, a body slump against the wall not moving with a puddle of blood around the person and a sword stabbed into their stomach, he almost threw up at the sight of this gagging trying to keep himself from throwing up, this is the first time he's seen a dead body. . . Well. . . In a long time actually and the first time he saw it. . . Well let's just say it didn't end well for his psyche for a while. But suddenly there was a voice that called out to him, the voice was weak and feminine but still alive. . . Still alive. . .
