Frost Kingdom:Training, Gear, Sparring And An Attack?!

Day 17-18th

After that little comfort session, Lilith was back to her usual self, well as normal as still being slightly depressed can be, finally finishing the letter that she was writing, and handing it over to a raven which showed up when she whistled, which Y/n thinks to be a messenger bird, once that's all said and done. Lilith had to stay in Y/n's room for the night due to recent events and she needed to wait for a little while until things calmed down due to the little show they had earlier, which Y/n didn't mind as he needed to do some reading anyway. Once nighttime finally came rolling around and Lilith hit the hay, Y/n just stayed up all night with Nama for some studying.

It's was about 5:00, at least to Y/n's knowledge the bell had snapped him awake from dozing off, but thankfully he had already finished most of the books he had to read, and after looking behind him to see Lilith still sleeping then in front of him to see Nama asleep as well, he decided to get some early breakfast, and maybe a bath too. Standing up he does a couple of slow stretches as to not open his wounds, which some are already close to healing, swapping his now ripped up tunic for a new one and heading downstairs which he's met with the innkeeper cleaning a glass, as he sits down he thinks for a moment, before just settling for regular eggs and bacon, after a few moments the food was ready and Y/n was scarfing down on the food the second it was placed and finished in a matter of moments, despite his rather hasty way of eating he isn't that much hungry than yesterday he really is that much of a fast eater. . . But enough with that, once he pays for the food he goes to a nearby bathhouse to clean himself up. He had already been covered with enough blood and dirt, and he doesn't want to be covered with anymore.

One Bathing Scene Later. . .

After a refreshing bath, Y/n heads back into the Inn and grabs some breakfast for Lilith on the way back into his room, once inside he places the plate of food into the nightstand and readies some vegetables and a few carrots for Nama. Once the preparations are finished, he decides to test his new crossbow first, since he unlocked his Mana now, he should be able to transfer some of his Mana reserves into the converter.

Y/n:Since I have my Mana unlocked, I think it's the perfect time to test out that crossbow. I really wanna see how powerful it is since it's practically pressure powered but just replaced by Mana.

Looking over his shoulder to see that Lilith is still asleep, he takes out his newly assembled crossbow from his inventory and takes the converter off and after some thinking and investigating, he managed to start transferring his Mana to the container and fills it up to half, draining his Mana reserves by about twenty eight percent. As he re-attached the cylinder the inner workings of the crossbow spring to life as it prepares a bolt that he had already inserted from the magazine. He then checks if any of the parts were malfunctioning, and when he finds none he tries to find a target to practice it on, finally settling on a broken wooden shield he looted from a skeleton, as he places the shield on the wall at the other side of the room, he aims his weapon.

Y/n:Alright. . . This is on full auto so the total power is decreased but I just want to see how powerful this crossbow really is so am gonna go off easy and just start slow.

Y/n takes a small breather aiming at the shield as he steadies his hand squeezing the trigger until he heard the weapon fire with a slightly loud. *THWACK*Coming for the weapon. Looking at the shield, the bolt completely pierced the broken wooden shield and into the floor, looking at how deep the bolt was it was nearly buried into the floorboards shocking him slightly before pulling the bolt and inspecting the arrow head to see that the edge was chipped but it was still pointy, whoever elf made this crossbow intended to create something to overpower both the crossbow and bows alike as well as opponents at long range with this kind of power and fire rate. Removing the magazine and loading in five bolts into it as well as putting another shield under the first shield, so he doesn't damage the floorboards anymore than a small hole.
