Malcolm and Jacquline

Chapter 1:

Early that morning before the worst day of Jack and Prescotts life.

At breakfast.....

Hey momma, and daddy. Prescott said

Hey P. Malcolm and Jack Said

Hey mom are you taking me to school or is dad taking me this morning? Prescott asked

I am dad has to get to work he has shift and I go in later today since I have a doctor appointment this morning. Jack said

Okay. I'm gonna go finish getting ready for school. Prescott said

J what appointment? Malcolm asked

M it's a check up I'd tell you if something was wrong with me I promise. Jack said

Okay as long as you promise me. I'll see you after we are both off shift tonight. Malcolm said

I'll see you later tonight you be safe out there today M keep your badge off the wall. I love you M. Jack said

I'll be safe J. You be safe and keep your badge off the wall too. I love you too J. Malcolm said

They kissed goodbye both leaving the house going there separate ways.

Jack takes Prescott to school and heads to her doctor appointment.

Arriving at her doctor appointment...

Mrs. Jennings. Nurse Sue said

Yes. Jack said

Follow me. Nurse Sue said

Jack gets up and follows the Nurse into the room.

Put this on and the doctor will be woth you soon. Nurse Sue said

Okay. Jack said

Jack puts on the gown and lays on the bed.

Good morning Mrs. Jennings. Dr. Roland said

Good morning Dr. Roland. Jack said

So it's a normal check so we will start with blood work, and then go from there. Is there anything I should know? Dr. Roland said

I haven't been feeling good. I've been nauseous, dizzy, headaches. Jack said

Is there any chance you could be pregnant? Dr. Roland asked

I might be. Jack said

I'll do the blood work and we will know if you are or not Okay. Dr. Roland said

Okay. Jack Said

Dr. Roland takes the blood from Jack and sends it off to the lab.

1 hour later...

Congrats Mrs. Jennings your pregnant. Dr. Roland said

Really. Jack said

Yes. I would like to do an ultrasound to see how far along you are. Dr. Roland said

Okay. Jack said

Lay back and lift up your gown please. Dr. Roland said

Jack lifts the gown up and lays back.

Dr. Roland then puts the doppler on her stomach.

Would you like to hear the heartbeat and know the sex of your baby? Dr. Roland asked

Yes. Jack said

Dr. Roland plays the heatbeatand Jack starts to cry

You're six months pregnant with a little girl. Dr. Roland said

Here's your copies and I'll see you in a month. Dr. Roland said

Jack grabs the ultrasound and changes into her uniform and leaves the doctor office. Counting down the hours until she yold Malcolm they were having a baby and Prescott is gonna be a big brother. Jack heads into work not knowing she was about to work the worst shift of her life.
