"Augustine! Come downstairs!" her mom yelled. Augustine grabbed her purse and hurried downstairs. She ran into the kitchen to find her mother sitting at the white marble island. "You look nice, honey" she complimented.

"Thank you," Augustine said with a smile. Her dark blonde hair was put half-up, tied with a ribbon. She was wearing a white, flowy dress with glossy white high heels. On her neck was a sparkly pearl necklace that belonged to her grandmother.

"Are you ready honey?" Augustine's mom asked. Augustine nodded yes and they headed out to the car. They were going to a showing of Little Women at the theatre. Augustine and her mom walked along the broken cobblestones, which her dad hadn't had time to fix because he had been in Italy on business for the past few months. Even though they had a lot of money, her dad still liked doing little projects around their home. She looked back at her house, with columns tall as mountains towering over everything else. Augustine smiled at the autumn leaves falling down from the trees. They came up to the car and the family's butler, Phillip, opened the door and they both got in. It had a black leather interior and a polished black exterior. Phillip got in the driver's seat and started driving to the theatre. "So," Augustine's mom started, "how is school?"

"It's good, mom." Augustine went to an all-girls private school. She didn't have many friends, as most of them from her school were mean and snobby. Some people may consider Augustine and her family as 'snobby', but she didn't think that was the right word. Sure, they had loads of money, but they didn't brag about it or show it off. They did good things with it. Her mom did love expensive things, and so did she, but that didn't make them snobby. Shortly, they pulled into the parking lot.
