Phillip hopped out of the car and opened the doors, letting Augustine and her mom out. "Thank you very much Phillip," Augustine grinned.
"My pleasure," Phillip responded. He got back in the car and drove back to their house. Augustine and her mother strolled into the theatre. There were many people there. They walked into the showing room and found a seat. Before long, more and more people came to find a seat, and the show started.
After a few hours, Augustine was getting bored. She loved the book, but it wasn't the same watching it in person. She glanced around the room, and a dark-haired boy caught her eye. He looked like he was around seventeen, her age; he had brown eyes, brown hair, and a very lovely smile. Augustine smiled. His head was half-way turned, and he was talking to someone who looked very rich. The boy's head turned back and they made eye-contact. He smiled at her and she smiled back. Augustine turned her head away and smiled to herself. Before long, the show ended and Augustine and her mother walked into the foyer.
"Dorothea?" A voice questioned. They both turned around to see her mother's good friend.
"Mary! It's been so long!" Her mother exclaimed. She turned to Augustine, "honey, you don't mind if I catch up with Mary for a little while, do you?"
Augustine shook her head, "no mom, that's fine." Her mother smiled and walked off with her friend. Augustine stood there for a while, and then decided to go back into the theatre. She walked through the doors, walking down the aisles and running her hand along the back of the seats.
When she got to the end of the first aisle, somebody came out of the other door. They collided and Augustine nearly fell down, but the person reached out and grabbed her hand, keeping her from falling.
