"Why do I always get the noisy neighbors, riki?"
" Imagine couldn't be me, but why don't you move apartments, Blaise?"
"......"
"My bad, I forgot you couldn't"
"Rikiiiiii," I whined, dragging out the name slightly. " I just got some new neighbors, and I can already tell this is going to hurt my non-existant sleep schedule."
"See Blaise, this is karma for turning down the awesome spot of moving in with me." Rikina said from the other side of the phone.
"But you live in London, and I'm in Brighton. My mum is here too, and I don't want to leave her." I sighed. I never liked the thought of being too far away from my mum. Right now, even though some loud kids have obviously just turned the age to move out. Are now living beside me. I still would rather be here so I can help my mum if need be.
"I'm sorry hun but, if the noise bothers you so much, why don't you ask them to be quieter. I'm sure they would understand." Rikina spoke in a soft tone. "And if they don't, you can make a noise complaint it wouldn't be this first time you've done that." Rikina laughed softly at the thought of her friends old neighbor.
"Goodness, you are the angel that has been sent to guide me." I joked. "But anyways I have to go to the coffee shop bye Riki!" We each said are goodbyes eventually hanging up.
I quickly got dressed for the day and started to walk to work.

I signed in and prepared for the long day ahead of me. During my shift, I thought back to what Riki said and if I should talk to my neighbors about the volume issue.
I decided that when I went home, I would confront my neighbors and follow the advice given to me. Maybe if the people are close to my age, we could even be friends!
