As if it was a miracle, I heard a knock at the door despite the loud music in my ears. I turned off the music to be granted with peace and quiet from my neighbors. That almost made me worry that they had been the ones behind the door.
I got up and swiftly strided to the door, opening the door. I was greeted by one of the seniors of the apartment building. The woman was named Dianna Smiths, she was very kind and gave baked goods to the newcomers when they arrive, she loves baking and is definitely good at it.
"Hello, Miss Pyro, how are you on this lovely morning," She spoke with a soft smile and voice that I'm sure is the exact reason she gets called grandma by most folks. At this point, I think it's her goal to be a grandmother figure. "Hello, Miss Smiths. I am doing well. How are you also if you don't mind me asking what brings you here." I said, trying my best to sound proper. "I'm doing swell. I came here to ask how you are doing with the neighbors. I can hear them from down the hall. I'm surprised you haven't complained." She said with an almost silent chuckle. "I'm alright. I might talk to them after work now that I think about it, though." I spoke with a small smile.
Despite them being abnormally loud, it doesn't bother me much. If I am being honest, I haven't met a single person who is louder than my twin brother Aqua apparently our parents thought it was a great idea to name us in a way we would sound opposite. Needless to say, we are, and we have been enemies since day one.
Dianna gave me a smile and walked back to her apartment, I had now been left to get ready for work. I open my closet and throw on the first thing I see. On my way to work, I spot the blond boy from yesterday. He had been looking my way, and when I caught him, he quickly turned back around he seemed to be ocompunied by his friends. I watched as they teased he and he got embarrassed and defensive.
I chuckled and continued on my way. I wish I could have a friendship like that. To be honest, I have riki, but I wish I could see her in person most of the time. I walked into the coffee shop and looked over to a co-worker named Ryan he opened the shop, and you could see the obvious eye bags from the lack of sleep He waves and clocks out hanging up his apron and leaving I go up and clock in grabbing my apron. I now have the job of mentally preparing myself for the afternoon rush. I can't wait to go home and hopefully talk to my troublesome neighbors.
I then remembered my brother was visiting, this is going to be terrible how could today get any worse. Never mind, before I dig myself a deeper hole, my neighbors could bother me, and that could put me in a worse mood.
