The knife cut against thin wooden pieces, slicing away at the ends every few times, but only after it's been dipped into a fire to keep warm. Her mind couldn't help but wonder back towards the past, one where her husband had still been alive. The four of them had been fairly happy, nothing close to perfect, but one where two parents could look over their children expecting.

It's hard doing this alone, especially with such a time in the world of the 9 realms.

Scarred brows knitting together in thought of how things could have been different, leaving a cursed woman alone with a stubborn boy with wings and another who seemed too curious for his own good would come to have their hardships, but they get by as best they can.

Kratos.. I hope you're at peace, love..

The sound of crunching snow under multiple footsteps are heard, only pausing when they grow closer.

The causes the older brother to slightly glide over, his wings helping with his speed, and he grabs his brother's ear to tug on it. The two squabble for a few moments, the mother simple watches with a relaxed expression. They slightly pushed and shoved at each other, the victor ultimately being the older brother putting the younger one in a headlock.

"Alright-alright. You two stop it before someone gets hurt."

She pushes herself from the stoney and cold seat, putting the dagger away while she looks over at them. They eventually separate when they noticed her signature look after a second too long of not stopping.
