"—Ack!?"
The air had been knocked from her lungs and the coldness didn't help. Pushing its face up while the young woman attempted to catch her breath, it tried its hardest to bite her hand or arm, doing anything it could to end her life.
"A-Atreus! It's me!"
She calls strained, but the large bear only bites at her shoulder once her hands slip. It picks her up in the air and jerks his head to the side, flinging the woman out of its bloodied jaws and onto the snow flooring. Wincing in pain at the action, she's quick to her feet, rolling out the way once he charged at her.
"Mother!?"
Morpheus calls as his sword is unsheathed, but she runs off while waving her hands, jumping in the air.
"N-no! Nooo! It's your brother, Atreus! Don't strike him!"
He stared at his mother puzzled as the head dangled from the young man's front side belt loop.
"What? The bear be Atreus??"
Almost being run over by the crazed animal, which causes him to break a large tree that falls away from them, she replays quickly.
"YES! MY SON AND YOUR BROTHER'S A FREAKIN' BEAR!!"
They watched the mother try and get her son to change back to normal, deep brown eyes lowering to his friend on his hip.
"Mimir, can I change into stuff too?"
"I—wha?—Why are you asking me lad?"
His lips pursed, gazing back at is mother and animal brother.
"Well.. You're the smartest man in world, right? I assumed you'd pull know that.. Is all."
He slashed his sharp claws her way, going one side to another, she voiced most of them, but he yet again clamps his sharp teen between her neck and shoulder. Her hands grip onto his face, sliding to pry off his mouth in a way she wouldn't hurt him, but he toss her into a tree. It breaks when her body comes into contact with it, and she rolls over into the snow. It made her body, yet it healed as if nothing was going on.
It all still hurt a lot, though.
Oh my goodness, he's not listening—can he not speak human as an animal too???
Forcing herself to rise, a boggling question continues to tug at the back of her mind and she mentally begins an argue with herself.
Maybe hurting him is the only way?
Never. I'd never hurt my children
Tell me, what good are we if we're incapacitated? Huh?
I can't die, ya'know?
I know that. Death is far from thee, but this can't go on much longer. Morpheus will try to help, and possibly loose his wings or worse—die trying to save someone who doesn't need it
