Xiao pov:
I was sleeping peacefully until my sister, Ganyu came into my room to wake me up.
"Come on Xiao! Wake up or you'll be late to your first day of school!!"
"Mmm, I'm coming..give me a few minutes"
She left my room and I got up to change and get myself ready for this 'exciting' day. I went downstairs only to find my family waiting for me to hurry up.

_______________________________As we got into separate cars; Ganyu with Qiqi and my dad and I in the other. We headed to the high school I was supposed to be going to. Once we got there dad dropped me off and we said our goodbyes. Dad was supposed to be working at a new job today. Other than being an assassin. Yeah my dad is in the top ranks of the assassins. I just continued my way to the office.
They gave me my schedule and I had a few minutes before class started. Everyone in the hall stared at me when I walked by them. It's understandable however, I could be described as a very cold person with a face that says 'don't talk to me or I'll kill you.' I kept walking until I found the correct classroom.
I walked right in and saw some people talking with each other. Two blonde twins seemed to be the popular kids since everyone was around them and talking amongst themselves. Nobody seemed to notice me, that was what I thought until the male of the blonde twins noticed me. Me gave me a smile, a kind smile..what is this feeling? I'll just ignore it. I just stood in the corner until the bell rang. After it rang everyone took a seat and I was the only one left standing by the window. I just had my eyes closed to avoid any weird eye contact. The teacher was late? Where were they? The door finally opened and the teacher walked in- DAD?? My dad was also going to be my teacher!?
"Alright settle down everyone."
Everyone stopped talking and looked at us both.
"Everyone I'll be your new homeroom teacher and this is a new student. Please welcome, Xiao."
I just walked towards him and stared at my new so-called classmates.
"Nothing to say Xiao?"
I simply shook my head.
"Alright then, take a seat at an open desk."
I nodded and I sat at the very front, next to the door. I felt people staring at me. Eh I'll just ignore it. Dad began teaching and already knew all of it so I decided to take a nap.
Aether pov:
The new kid...fell asleep?? *Sigh*
"Is everything okay Aeth?"
I looked to my right to see Lumine with a worried expression.
"I'm okay Lumi. Just saw the new kid sleeping-"
She looked in his direction to see him sleeping too.
"Well someone is learning a lot" she rolled her eyes.
Hahaha...how funny
Zhongli pov:
I was teaching history and I need to ask someone about what I just said. I looked around to see Xiao sleep. Guess I'll ask him.
"Xiao."
He didn't answer but I knew he could hear me.
"What is a popular type of food that resides in Liyue?"
He already knows this since we are from Liyue and I had taught him everything he needed to know from a young age.
"Seafood. It's known for its spices as well but not as much as Sumeru's."
"Correct. Good job."
"Yeah yeah" he went back to sleep-
3rd person pov:
As Zhongli kept teaching and asking questions, Xiao kept sleeping and the class kept wondering why the teacher allowed him to keep sleeping in class, the bell had finally rung. Everyone grabbed their things and made their way to get lunch. Aether and Lumine stayed behind to ask someone questions about today's lessons.
"Xiao get up, the bell already rang." They heard the teacher tell the new student.
"Mmm, five more minutes."
They made their way to them.
"Mr. Zhongli"
He turned to them.
"What did you two need? Is It something about the lessons?""Yeah, it is actually. But we can ask another time if you're busy at the moment" they said looking at Xiao.
"Ah, please excuse Xiao. I'll wake him up one way or another." Zhongli said as he reached into his pocket.
Xiao knew what that meant; 'wake up right now or you'll regret it' and he stood up immediately.
"Appologies.. I overslept.."
"Mm, good. You still know what it means." Zhongli glared at him.
"How could u forget?" Xiao glared back.
"I-i think that we'll be going now..haha"
They stopped glaring and said nothing as they left the classroom.
"I hope you don't plan to sleep all semester in this class Xiao."
"Why not? I know everything there is to know. You taught me from a young age Dad"
"That may be true but don't set a bad example. All I'm asking is that you don't sleep, just pay attention. Okay?"
"I- alright..I won't sleep anymore."
~ Time skip ~
School ended and Xiao was currently walking towards the gates when someone called his name.
"Xiao!"
He saw one of the blonde twins running towards him.
"Hey no running in the halls!!" Said the Hall monitor
"Ah! S-sorry!"
He finally got to Xiao.
"H-hi, you're Xiao right? I'm Aether! It's nice to meet you!" He held his hand out for Xiao to shake.
". . ." Xiao said nothing but just walked past him.
"Eh-" :∆
"Big piece of advice. Don't get near me."
Was all Xiao said before he left Aether confused and alone in the halls.
