...

I didn't know what I was doing at the entrance. I panicked. This time, it wasn't curiosity which took over.

Anger took over.

I just let my thoughts flow out verbally. I regretted everything.

I went over to my seat with my puffed-up reddish face. Everyone looked like they're were scared. Was I really that loud? I wasn't really feeling that well after that, it felt like I was about to puke. I just took off my scarf and laid on my desk. I felt like a puddle of tears was about to exit my eyes.

I heard the school bell ring. The teacher entered. I stood up with tears filled on my face. The teacher seemed like she didn't notice. Thank god.

Recess came.

I immediately laid back to my previous position. My tears were uncontrollable. I grabbed my scarf from the other side of the desk and placed it in front of me. After about 10 minutes, I heard someone knock on my desk. I was afraid to get up, as I was scared that someone would see my face.

"Hey."

A deep voice I heard. It was familiar.

"What."

I mumbled unclearly.

"A-are you okay?"

Then suddenly, I heard an even familiar, a want-to-forget voice.

"Hey! Get the fuck out of my way!"

It was Andrew, my ex-boyfriend, who is also still obsessed with me, who is also a person which doesn't acknowledge why we split.

"Babe, are you okay?"

He said rather desperately. I can already tell by his high-pitched voice that he is faking it.

I finally lift my face and shifted my blurry vision to him.

"Do I look okay, Andrew? We've split, stop talking to me."

I was holding in my shaky voice and trying not to be on the urge of crying. I looked around, as many people, not that many people surrounded the scene.

"Oh no, babe, don't be upset. I will always be here for you."

He said again, with a harsh voice:

"Who the fuck are you?"

He faced Mike with his angry face. I couldn't move. It felt like there was a powerful force holding my limbs.

"I-I'm her frie-"

"Yea fuckin' right. You? Her friend? Haha! That's the second most funniest thing I've heard this year, the first one being just looking at you. Get out of my sight."

His elbow buffed-up and jabbed Mike in the chest. He coughed. Tears piled up under my eyes, any more will lead to a waterfall.

"Babe."

He said while his hand on my chin. He lifted my head.

"I know things are hard right now. Remember in your heart, there will always be me."

"I don't need you. I never need you, dickhead."

I said while holding in other sentences on my tongue. I saw his eyes firing up.

He slapped me in the face.

"Hey!"

Mike yelled. That was the first time I've heard him raise his voice. Even though my dumb ex is literally making me uncomfortable, Mike raising his voice made me slightly blush.

Mike grabbed Andrew's hand and pushed it away.

"You little-"

Andrew didn't even bother finishing his sentence. His hand turned into a fist.

He punched Mike in the face. He hit him real hard, is I should say. Mike fell backwards, hitting his head on the wall really hard. He didn't even punch him directly in the face, he gave him an uppercut. But Andrew wasn't finished.

He grabbed the same dictionary on Greyson's desk, then running to the other end of the classroom. He threw the dictionary like a frisbee, then it ended up hitting Mike's chest.

He coughed up blood.

I still couldn't move. If I could, I would immediately help him.

Mike looked unconscious, but you never really know. Maybe he's 'used to it'.

Andrew walked over to my desk.

"Ooh, that was brutal. See, people like this in your life is bad. They're like viruses. They infect and destroy your lif-"

My hand immediately covered his mouth. I can move again.

I stood up with my hand still on his mouth. I walked forward, he moved backward.

"Say one more thing again I will cut your fucking balls off."

I said with my deep voice.

"Zoey, I-"

I swung my leg up between his legs and kicked him in his crotch.

"Oh!-"

"DO YOU WANT ANOTHER TASTE OF THE PAIN-AMPLIFIER-3000?"

I said loudly, almost screaming.

"N-No-"

"THEN SCRAM!"

He waddled away quickly from the classroom like a penguin.

Finally, Andrew, this name I'll never hear again. But forget him.

"Mike! Are you okay?"

I ran over to Mike with my worried voice. He was sitting there exhausted. He has breathing heavily.

His hand was under his mouth, holding the blood dripping from his mouth.

"Yea-" *cough*

"I know damn well you're not okay. Let's get you to the nurse's office-"

"N-no I'm fine."

He interrupted me with his sudden objection.

"Are you sure?"

"Yep."

He smiled forcefully. He stood up limping while wiping blood from his mouth. Is he really okay?

The bell rang. Recess is over.
