I could notice a few students staring at me as I walked out with Kirari. They were whispering to each other, some of them giggling while pointing at us.
I sigh, grabbing Kirari's hand and continuing to walk. I didn't have time to worry about what they thought. I need to get home— to relax. For once.
Kirari seemed to notice my disappointment, as she put her arm around me, pulling me closer to her as we walked. Usually she was just cunning and mysterious, but seeing this side of her...
It wasn't anything I'd seen before. And.. as rude as it may sound, I didn't think she could ever be like this.
I mean, why would THE Kirari Momobami be... soft? I mean, it's just... it's unheard of!
Not that I didn't enjoy it. I loved every second of it.
It was just.. new.
Anyways, I decided that instead of going to Kirari's house, I'd simply go to my own home. I needed that comfort right now.
Slowly unlocking the door, I smiled a bit to myself as I saw my cat, Whiskers. He was basically my emotional support animal. He meowed as he saw me, curiously walking over to Kirari.
I walk over to my room and immediately lay down. I was so exhausted.
Kirari peeked her head through the door, making sure not to intrude.
"Mind if I join you? I'm quite tired myself.."
She sighs, smiling a bit as she looked off to the side of the room.
Usually I'd be flustered and nervous right now, but I was far too tired to register why she was asking me, so I just nod, laying back down.
I'd never felt this tired in my entire life.
Maybe I was sick, or maybe I'd just been working too much. I don't know.
I just hope this gets better soon.
And soon, Sayaka fell asleep alongside Kirari who held onto her comfortingly.
They both slept very well that night.
(A/N: like I said before stuff has been crazy. But I'm still trying to update for you guys while I can ^^ )
