"little star" bat animatronic reader/moon

!birthday request!

(this was requested by Cat_stole_my_phone. also i hope this is uploaded of the 28th but if it isn't i hope you have/had a good birthday!)

katie squealed as they slid down the slide to the daycare, they stared at all of the colourful parts of the slide while they slid down.

they fell from the slide into the ballpit with a dull thud of the coloured plastic balls, katie looked around to find the sun animatronic and they ran up of him when they spotted him.

sun turned around to spot katie, he flopped down to their level with a 'hellllo' katie greeted him back and leaned it to sun's faceplate as if to tell him a secret.

"guess what mr.sun' sun whispered back to katie "what?" he drew out the word and laughed quietly.

"did you know it's my birthday today" katie leaned back out from sun's faceplate with a giggle and smile.

"OH MY STARS I DIDN'T, HAPPY BIRTHDAY..oh my we need to set up something special for your special day!" sun rambled on his words at the end of his sentance and katie grinned happily at sun being excited for their birthday. sun quickly scrambled off to gather stuff for katie's birthday to make them a small party of sorts.

"it's your birthdway?" katie looked over to the smaller kid and nodded, to kid smiled at katie and passed them something, the kid passed them a..ball from the ballpit.

"happy birthdway! enjoy the gift" and with that said the kid ran off to join their friend in a game of tag.

sun returned with a couple of items and placed them on a kiddie table and went over to another kiddie table and placed the two together before placing a bunch of seats around the table before setting up the tables with a party hat at each seat.

"THERE YA GO!" sun looked over to katie and grinned to them as he practicialy radiated with happiness as he saw katie's face light up as they ran over to the seats and put on their party hat in excitement. the others kids quickly gathered and placed their hats on their heads with giggles and squeals.

sun leaned down to katie after all of the kids got their hats and opened his arms to hug them, they accepted and smiled as sun hugged them. sun picked up katie and held them for a moment before dashing off again, seemingly to grab something.

sun sticked his head out of a staff room before grabbing what he was looking for.

sun ran back to katie and passed them an unopened packet of sundrops.
"happy birthday!" katie thanked sun and opened the packet to eat one. they offered sun one but he declined and told them to eat it. Katie popped one of the sundrops into their mouth.

it tasted a bit like lemon and was a little like a gusher as it had liquid inside that gave katie a burst of flavour.

"alright sunshine! what would you like to do now? we could play hide and seek, tag, freeze tag.." sun continued to list off games before katie decided on hide and seek, sun agreed and gathered the other kids again. Katie scrambled off to hide first because sun gave them a '10 second headstart' katie quickly ran into the play structures near sun's castle and hid.

after katie had hid all the other kids begun to hide somewhere else, two kids ran into the ballpit, five ran into the main play structures and scrambled and one kid ran into the toy house.

sun finished counting to twenty and took his eyes off of his faceplates and took a quick scan around the room before he looked to the ballpit, the plastic balls were moving as the kids tried to get deeper into the pit. sun grabbed the kids ankles and gently pulled them out of the ballpit with a 'found you!'

the kids pouted but went to the table to wait for lunch that would be arrived after the game of hide and seek.

next sun looked around again as he slowly walked towards the play structures.

"found you! now who is left hmm?" sun placed his hand to his chin to 'think'

"AH YES, katie is the last one" sun crawled around all over the daycare looking for katie until they sneezed. sun perked up and went towards the sound until he wrapped his arms around them shouting "FOUND YOUU" the daycare door opened as the pizza arrived. all the kids screamed as it arrived and ran over to the pizza boxes while katie remained at sun's side.

sun walked over to the pizza boxes on the table and grabbed some paper plates to place the pizza on top of.
katie got to choose first what pizza they'd like.

every enjoyed the pizza, and after the pizza was finished everyone said happy birthday to katie, they smiled, katie grabbed the sundrops that sun had given to them and ate one. yup they were still delicious, sun hugged katie.

"you know what sunshine? whatcha wanna do now? we can do anyyyything you want"

katie thought for a moment before they shrugged, they didn't know.

sun thought of an idea of freeze tag and everyone agreed.

the rest of the day was a blur, but one thing katie knew was that they had the best birthday possible.

in fact katie had so much fun that they came back the next year.

but to their suprise. sun still remembered them? wow.

they squealed as much as the first day they met sun. the guy was so cool how could they not.

what katie didn't expect was how much they missed sun.

"oh my bestest friend how i missed you!"  katie smiled and had a total blast with sun.

sun on the other hand knew that out of all the kids he'd met that katie would always be his 'bestest friend' forever.  sun did whatever he could to make katie happy, and to him every last bit of it was worth it to see katie happy.
