3rd POV. Takemikazuchi Shrine, Tachibana Residence.

Ayaka visited the Takemikazuchi Shrine that was under the care of the Tachibana Family for years, dating as far back from the Keio Era.

She can't believe that it lasted until the Reiwa Era.

Ayaka: I can't believe that the traditional interior of the shrine has been maintained for over thousands of years.

Satsuki, the one who is currently leading Ayaka to the entrance of the shrine answered.

Satsuki: Dad and nii-chan said that the shrine actually went through a lot of renovations during the Heisei Era.

Satsuki: Probably because to make sure that the quality materials will be of the modern standards.

Ayaka: Really?

Satsuki: I mean, the Yashiro Group, lead by the Kamisato Family should've known that this shrine is one of the oldest shrines in Japan.

Ayaka: What!?

Satsuki: Come on now, Ayaka-san. Don't you think we don't know you? The first time you stepped foot inside this shrine, when we told Dad about what happened......

Satsuki: He knew who you were.

Ayaka: Is that so.......?

Satsuki: I guess nii-chan is the one who doesn't really care who you are or even bothered to know your identity.

Ayaka: .........

Ayaka: Even though he saved me back then?

Satsuki: Back then?

Ayaka: You see......when I was here, I was still young, probably around Sei's age, I got bullied here because I told the delinquents to stop vandalizing the shrine walls.

Satsuki: Ah......nii-chan told us that something like that happened.

Satsuki: That is where nii-chan decided to like guard the shrine like a samurai.

Ayaka: I'm kinda scared because he didn't even have a shred of mercy to those who made such a crime.

Satsuki: Why wouldn't he? After all, those delinquents deserve it, they just committed sacrilege in a sacred place.

Ayaka: Like brother, like sister.......

Satsuki: But I can really understand where nii-chan is coming from. After all, this shrine.....

Satsuki: Our mother loved this shrine.

Ayaka: Your mother?

Satsuki: Yes. She died years ago due to a disease.

Satsuki: I'm guessing Sei was just about 2 to 3 years old. She barely got her senses when our mother died.

Satsuki: Despite the bitter truth, Sei is still cheery.

Ayaka: That really is Sei-chan.
