"Hatter!"

The man heard his name get called by Alice. A shocked face was what he had on, "Alice?" He dropped his hat and turned to face her.
Alice jumped into his arms and sobbed into his shoulder, The Mad Hatter held on tightly to her as he realized this wasn't a hallucination or his voices messing with him.
"Alice.." He whispered into her hair. He was so happy she was back, that happiness was soon ruined by the sound of a clock ticking.
Alice was let down and they stared at the source of the sound, it was Time's successor Clockwork. A young man with raven colored hair, who had piercing steel eyes, and he was wearing a suit sort of similar to his predecessor's suit, "Welcome back to Wonderland, Alice. If my predecessor were still here he would probably stop your clock where you stand."
Alice looked confused,
"Ah! We haven't formally met! I'm Clockwork! His successor. He passed away quite a while ago, how's the traveling across the world going?" The male had a large smile as his arms folded behind his back,
"Oh.. it's going well. We nearly died on our last trip. But what's life without doing something considered impossible?" Alice smirked, a laugh came from the mad one standing and watching this go down,
"Oh right, Hatter, your family was asking where you were." Clockwork had a smirk on his face as he watched a giddy smile go on the mad man's face.
Clockwork left and went back to his 'home'. Leaving Alice and The Hatter alone, "We should go say hi to your family." Alice said suddenly as Hatter turned to look at her,
"Ooh! Yes! You haven't properly met them!" The Hatter dragged her along as he babbled about how his family was amazing and how much they have changed since they were rescued, Alice just nodded along and kept up with his pace.
She watched him with a smile on her lips, this was the man she loved, the crazy idiot that made her want to come back. She didn't know what this feeling was, maybe should could ask the Cheshire Cat what it is. Maybe he knows.
Soon they made it to the Hatter residence and Mad's mother opened the door, "Ah! There you are! And you brought a friend. She looks lovely, dear!" She said as she greeted his family,
"Ooh! Yes! This is Alice! The Alice that slayed the Jabberwokky!" Alice turned slightly red, he didn't have to brag about her successes. Hatter turned to look at her and for a moment, he was lost in her face. He was a sucker for this girl. Apparently he was so out of it he didn't hear the question asked to him, "What was that? Sorry, I was distracted."
"I asked if you two were together, dear." His mother asked nonchalantly, the two she was talking two burst into an array of reds. His mother laughed and smiled at the two,
  "Not yet." The Hatter smirked at Alice and then she died. Her face was as red as the ribbon on his hat. Both him and his mother were laughing.
  The laughter attracted his father, "Why are the two of you- oh. Hello Alice." He said suddenly,
  "He,Hello sir." She stuttered out,
  "Need a place to stay while your here?" He asked politely, smirking at his son,
  "I suppose I do.." She said as she rubbed where Hatter had his grip on her wrist,
  "Good! You can stay with this boy." And he went back into the house. The Hatter looked concerned, but also happy to have Alice stay with him.

  And so the two ran off to The Mad Hatter's house..
