Kellin's P.O.V.

"She what?" I yelled into the phone. "You're just telling me now?!" 

"I'm sorry. I was making sure she was all right." Tara tells me defensively. "She hasn't waken up yet either. You should come and stay until she does."

"Okay. I'm on my way now." I hang up the phone and walk into Natalia's room. "Hey, let me use your car." 

"For what? What's wrong with yours?" she asks.

"Elizabeth had a wreck. Please, let me use your car."

"She's not my problem."'

"My f*cking mate is in the f*cking hospital. Just let me use your f*cking car!"

"No." she said bluntly.

"What the hell- no. Forget it." I said and walked out. I'll just run then.

I run, vampire speed all the way to the way from the house to the hospital. I walk in the front door and was stopped by an officer at the front desk. "Where ya' goin?"

"Elizaabeth Corbbs, I'm her brother." I knew he wouldn't let me go if I said boyfriend. "Where is her room?"

"Car accident?" I nodded. "Level 6, room 613."

"Thank you." I ran to the stairs. Don't have time for the elevator. (aint nobody got time fo dat. ^.^) I get to the sixth floor and get stopped once again. "Elizabeth Murrs, brother." I justkeep going. I stopped right in front of room 613. I take a deep breath and entered the room.

Elizabeth was just lying there. Her face emotionless and pale. Tara looked up at me. "Kellin, here, come sit." She got up from a chair that was right beside the bed. I sat down slowly.

I looked her up and down, then back to her face. "Elizabeth, I'm so sorry." I said grabbing her hand. I laid my head down on on the side of her. "What kind of mate am I? I let her out of my sight."

"It's not your fault." Elizabeth says. I jerk my head up. She smiled weakly. 

"You're awake." I smiled widely. 

"Kellin, I walked out. I was just angry about this morning and that Sarah girl came and took you away. I was just being a brat."

"So you walked out because Sarah stole my attention?" I laugh. She nodded. I didn't even realize the doctor walk in.

"I see you've woken up, Elizabeth," she says, "I'm Dr.Ortez, by the way."

"Hello," Ellie says.

"How are you feeling?"

"Like I've been hit ih the head with a jack hammer. My left arm and leg are like jello sticks." she replies weakly.

"I'm sorry. Would you mind us taking some x-rays?  We want to make sure you weren't hurt severely." Ellie nods. " You two can stay here, we'll be back shortly."

Two nurses walk in and roll Ellie away, Dr.Ortez following behind.

"Do you think she's going to be all right, Kellin?" Tara asks nervously.

"Yeah, of course. I have one of the stronest human mates in the world." I say.

"I've been thinking of what power she could have. I just can't tell, though," she says, "I remember watching you and Maura and having a good guess on what power both of you would have. You were always so controling and Maura was violent." We both laughed.

"Was I that bad?" She nodded. "Have you ever wondered why mom and dad picked us?"

"No, not really. I actually knew why. I just never knew exactly why they chose you two out of all the other people. Dad told me you two would be strong and he just knew you'd both be great additions to the family." she explains and I nod.

Moments later Dr.Ortez and Ellie come back in. "Well, she has a small crack in her skull. Two fractures in her leg, and a dislocated arm. We put her back in place with a cast just to be sure it stays. I'm going to come back and put a cast on her leg." Dr.Ortez says and walks out of the room.

"Will you make me a glass of water?" Ellie asks no one in particular.

"Yeah, I'll do it." Tara says. She starts opening cabinets with her eyes and lets a cup fall to the counter. She sends it over to the water dispenser and fills it. Then floats its way over to Ellie.

"That is so cool. Thanks, by the way." Ellie says.

"No problem."

At that moment Dr.Ortez walks back into the room with a rolling tray full of things for casts. "What color?" she asks.

"Blue!" Ellie half shouts like a little girl.

"All right, this shouldn't take too long." Dr.Ortez says smiling.

Soon after she was done wrapping Ellies leg. It pains me to see her hurt like this. "Will she have to stay here for a few days?" I ask.

"Yes. Only because of the crack in her skull. Until it heals, she'll have to stay. It's not that big so it might not take long." I nod. "Well, I'll be n my way. Buzz if you need anything."

"Okay, thank you." I smile. She walks out toleave the three of us alone.

"Are you two going to stay the night?" Ellie asks.

"I can't. I know you are, Kellin. I'll get Trey to bring some clothes. He should be on bis way soon." She pulls her phone out and starts tapping.

So much has happened in just two days. Yes, two days. How am I going to keep up with this girl?

"Kellin, will you come lay with me?" Elllie asks softly.

"Yeah, of course." I get up from my seat and lay beside her. "You're so cold." I cuddle her closer.

"You are, too." she giggles. She closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep.

Trey walked in with a bag. "Hey, here's your stuff." Tara got up and he dropped my things in the chair. "Tell Elizabeth I said hello and I hope she gets better." He whispers and they walk out.
