2 weeks later

Kellin POV

It's been about two weeks since I almost destroyed Natalia. Luckily Trey came and stopped me. The only bad thing about this is that Ellie has been acting strange. She's always so alert and ready to attack. Not like she could hurt anyone. Maybe Natalia or I scared her. She wouldn't admit to it, though.

"Kellin?" I hear my mum call for me.

"Coming!" I run downstairs. "Hey mum, you need me?"

"Yes. Is Ellie here?"

"Nope. She went shopping with Tara, Iris, and Angelique."

"Okay, good. I'd like to have a word with you," She starts out the back door and onto the porch. We sat down getting comfortable. "I actually wanted to talk about you and Ellie," I nodded. "Dad and I were thinking that you should have the wedding sooner."

"Sooner as in?"

"Next Thursday."

"Next Thursday? How are we gonna get everyone here and plan it?"

"Weeeellll, we kind of already have everything set."

"What? Mum, Ellie wanted to plan it."

"Actually, she did. I sat down with her and we talked about everything she wanted there. I got everything settled and now it's done. By the way. if you didn't realize, her birthday is next Saturday. So, we didn't push it but two days earlier."

"Seriously? Thank you so much, mum! But, what about her dress and my tux?"

"That's where she should be now if they're shopping. The boys said they're going to take you tomorrow."

"Well, all right then. Next Thursday it is. The sooner, the better," We walked back inside just in time to see Ellie and the rest of the girls walking in.

"Kellin!" Ellie shouts. I embrace her in my arms giving her a small kiss.

"Have a good day out shopping?"

"You bet. How was your day, babe?"

"Great. I just couldn't wait for your return. I missed you," I squeeze her tight into my chest.

"Awe. I missed you, too, love," A loud bang erupted from down the hallway. Elizabeth squeezed me so hard my breath hitched. "Sorry," she says looking up at me.

"It's okay," I looked down at her. She looks worried about something.

"Does Natalia even come out of her room? Or does she just avoid me when I'm here?"

"She just avoids you and I both. Is it still bothering you what happened?"

"Just a little. I would like to talk to her. Though, I know you wouldn't allow that."

"I will. Maybe later. I'm just nervous it's going to happen again," I pick her up, wrapping her legs around me. I lay my head in the crook of her neck. Inhaling her scent calms me.

"K-Kellin, she stutters, "Kellin s-stop," I didn't even realize it when my fangs began grazing upon her skin. I collected my senses and pulled away setting her down. She looks up at me and gasps. "Your eyes, they're purple."

"Yeah. They change to purple when I get roweled up in any way. Angry, sad, you know."

"That's awesome. Any other colors?"

"Well, any vampires eyes can change to red. So yeah, just purple, red, and my normal color."

"Oh, okay. So, um, what made you do that anyways?" she asks. I pull her hand and walk upstairs.

"Um, I really don't know. Mum and dad might know. We can ask them later," She nods her head. " what do you want to do, love?"

"Well, I ama little tired from shopping. How about we take a stroll in the woods?"

"All right. Sounds good to me. Maybe we'll see some of our Wolfy friends."

"Yeah, I hope so," We switch to some more comfortable clothes and head out. We were about 10 feet into the maze of  trees when we heard an aggressive growling. "What's that?"

"Rogue wolf probably on the territory. We're good. You have me, a whole bunch of wolves, and probably other vampires in the woods. You're pretty safe."

"Okay, great. I am not trying to die today."

"Never. Not while you're with me."

We walked and talked when a few wolves passed. They looked busy so I didn't stop them for chat. Not too long after another few passed. We were by a river so they stopped and changed form behind some trees. Walking back out the three said their greetings.

"Hello, Kellin. Hello... you are?" the male, John, said.

"Hey, John. This is is my mate, Elizabeth. Elizabeth, this is John, Rebekkah, and Kate."

"Hi," Ellie says waving, "Nice to meet you."

"Touche," Rebekkah says. She immediately starts to smell the air. As well as John, Kate, and I. "Damned rogues."

I pull Ellie back as the three change form. "Get on my back and hold on tight," She does as told and I jump into the nearest tree.

Two rogue wolves come and are instantly put down. We sit there watching the fight and get down once safe. We said our goodbyes while the mess was cleaned up. "I think it's time to go home," I say.

"Yeah, I'm getting tired, anyway."

We walk back home and go upstairs. Ellie goes to the shower while I lay down to watch the telly. I turn the channel to X Factor. That's my favorite show. Ellie comes back a while later and falls asleep.
