Hi~ Author here! Before you start reading, please be aware that there may be some grammar errors in this story—I'm working on improving it! I also plan to publish a Tagalog version if I find the time, hehe~. All names, places, companies, and other details in this story are entirely fictional. If any names or descriptions coincidentally match real people or places, it's purely by chance.

This is a story I once published but later decided to unpublish. After finding it interesting in my drafts, I decided to publish it once again. And by the way, it's not finished yet, so if you're still interested, please enjoy reading! I'll continue this story once I finish the other one I'm working on, hehe.

Truly yours,

KhanaX

Someone Point of View

"You're fired!" my manager shouted, his voice sharp and cutting through the room. He hurled a stack of papers in my direction, scattering them all over me. I stood there, frozen, too shocked to react. I had no idea what I had done wrong, and time seemed to slow down around me.

But then, I pulled myself together. I looked at my manager with a regretful expression, though I forced a small smile. His face twisted with annoyance, but I didn't say a word. Instead, I turned and walked out of the room. As I stepped out, I noticed the stares of my coworkers—some looked at me with pity, others whispered among themselves, and a few appeared just as annoyed as my manager.

Once I was out of the room, I took a deep breath and, as I closed the door behind me, let out a long sigh.

This was the 20th job I'd been fired from in nearly two years. I never seem to catch a break.

My name is Elina Diana Ottosin, a 25-year-old graduate with a Bachelor of Business Administration. I finished my degree at 23 and have been working ever since, but luck hasn't been on my side. I've tried all kinds of jobs, yet none have turned out to be permanent.

*A few moments later

I sat on my bed, feeling the weight of exhaustion settle over me. Despite how tired I was, I grabbed my phone to check for job openings in the area. As I scrolled through the listings, I saw some of my previous workplaces, which only made me feel more stressed. The memories of each failed job piled onto the anxiety I was already feeling. Still, I kept scrolling until a particular job posting caught my eye. I clicked on the image, and it took me to a website. Confused, I started reading the description, but the more I read, the less sense it made.

"Hyaung Enterprises Corporation is looking and hiring for a secretary for our CEO. We don't require any high-ranking professionals or master's degree holders. We need someone who can handle pressure, is an expert in everything, and is willing to work 24 hours—a personal secretary with no life."

I read the sentence aloud, then paused for a moment. What did it say? Something seemed seriously off with this.

*Ring *Ring Ring

My phone rang, snapping me out of my thoughts. It was my mother calling, so I answered right away.

"Hello?" I said, trying to keep my voice steady. I heard my mother sigh on the other end. I braced myself, already sensing that this wasn't going to be good news.

"What is it, Mother? Just tell me," I said, my tone firm but concerned.

"It's your brother—" she started, but her voice wavered. I lay back on the bed, staring at the ceiling.
